We’re so happy to be back Artisan Mill Co. .

When we found out our Manheim space was closing, we honestly weren’t sure what was next for Ruff City Pet. Then Artisan Mill came to the rescue and offered us a space in Lititz, and we couldn’t have been more grateful.

So here we are, back in Lititz and surrounded by so many incredible small businesses and makers. It feels pretty good to have a little piece of Ruff City Pet here again.

Thank you, Artisan Mill, for giving us a place to land. We’re so happy to be back.

Okay, but have you seen the PUPtarts from Thriving K9 Collective?

Because these might be some of the coolest dog cookies.

They’re hand-decorated and they look like actual little pastries — except they’re made for your dog. Every one is different, and the amount of detail on these is kind of ridiculous - in the best way…

The best part is watching someone realize they’re dog treats and not something from an actual bakery.

Things our pets have convinced us are absolutely necessary:

1. A bed in every room of the house.
2. The ability to reject the food they ate yesterday because apparently they’ve moved on.
3. A 37-minute discussion about which toy they want.
4. A treat for successfully accepting the treat they were already going to get.
5. An entire couch, despite being approximately 14 inches long.
6. A blanket that must be arranged specifically to their liking.
7. Immediate access to whatever you are eating.
8. A dramatic sigh when you ask them to move six inches.
9. A second walk because the first one apparently “didn’t count.”
10. A completely unnecessary emergency meeting because you stopped petting them for 4.2 seconds.

Honestly, they have very reasonable expectations. We’re the ones struggling to keep up.

We’ve been looking for more options for the small dogs who absolutely destroy their toys, so I was excited to bring these in.

The Outward Hound Durablez Tough Plush toys are small, stuffing-free, squeaky plush toys with a tougher inner layer and reinforced seams.
They’re not marketed as indestructible (because let’s be honest, there’s no such thing), but they’re definitely a step up from the average plush toy.

The size is actually made for the little ones.

We’re happy to now carry Thriving K9 Collective —small-batch dog cookies that are thoughtfully made and beautifully decorated.

These are the kind of treats that can make an everyday moment feel a little more special, without overcomplicating things.

Right now, you can find them at prussian street arcade in Mannheim until August 23, and they’ll be stocked tomorrow at prussian street arcade in Lancaster.
