๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ Meet Stormie! ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ

At just 10 months old, Stormie should be enjoying all the fun and adventures of puppyhood, but instead she found herself at the shelter as a stray. Now, this beautiful girl is hoping her next chapter includes a family of her very own.

Stormie can be a bit of a nervous nelly when meeting new people and exploring new places, but beneath that shy exterior is a sweet pup who truly craves love and affection once she feels safe. She's incredibly tolerant, eager to connect, and has so much potential just waiting to shine.

Because she's still young, Stormie would benefit from some basic training and continued socialization. The good news? She's a smart cookie who is ready to learn! A patient family willing to help build her confidence will be rewarded with a loyal companion for years to come.

Stormie is open to meeting children ages 3 and up, as well as other animals with proper introductions. In fact, a confident canine friend may be just what she needs to help her come out of her shell and show the world what an amazing dog she can be.

We may never know what Stormie's life looked like before she arrived here, but we know her future is bright. All she needs is someone willing to give her the chance she deserves. ๐Ÿ’™

Come meet Stormie and help this young girl find the forever home she's been waiting for!

๐Ÿ’™ $5 Friday for Nolan ๐Ÿ’™

When Nolan first arrived at our shelter in 2023 as a stray, he needed help in more ways than one. He was thin, suffering from painful skin infections, and had never been given the training or guidance every dog deserves. Despite his rough start, Nolan found a home and we hoped his happily ever after had finally arrived.

Just six months later, Nolan was back.

Through no fault of his own, Nolan was returned to the shelter with a story of a move that left him without a place to call home. What happened next was heartbreaking to watch.

Shelter life was simply too much for Nolan.

The stress consumed him. He paced endlessly. He barked for hours. He struggled to settle, struggled to relax, and struggled to cope. He lost weight. His skin issues returned. He soiled his kennel repeatedly because his anxiety never allowed him to truly rest. Our staff tried everything we could think of. Extra walks. Extra treats. Extra enrichment. Training. Medical support. Endless patience and love.

But Nolan was telling us something loud and clear: he wasn't meant to live behind kennel doors.

Then, when we were running out of options, a hero stepped forward.

A foster home opened its door.

Finding a foster for a dog like Nolan isn't easy. He needed a home without other animals and someone willing to help him learn something many dogs take for granted: how to simply be calm, comfortable, and secure.

That foster family changed Nolan's life.

Today, nearly two years later, Nolan is thriving in foster care. He's healthy. He's happy. He's learned so much. But there's one thing he still doesn't have:

A forever family.

Every extra day Nolan has been able to spend in a loving foster home instead of a kennel is because of supporters like you. Your donations help provide medical care, training resources, enrichment, and support for foster families who give dogs like Nolan a second chance.

This $5 Friday, we're asking you to help us continue saying "yes" to dogs who need a little extra time, a little extra patience, and a lot of extra love.

Because every Nolan deserves a chance.

๐Ÿ’™ Donate, share, foster, adopt.
๐Ÿ’™ Be the reason another dog gets the opportunity Nolan did.
๐Ÿ’™ And maybe, just maybe, help us find Nolan the forever home he's been waiting for.

Meet Siren ๐Ÿบโœจ

This beautiful Husky girl is as loving as they come, but sheโ€™s also a shy, sensitive soul who needs a little extra time to feel safe. Once she bonds with you though? Youโ€™ll have a loyal shadow for life ๐Ÿ’•

Siren is looking for a very specific kind of home to help her thrive:
๐Ÿพ A confident resident dog is a must โ€” she relies on other dogs to help build her confidence
๐Ÿก Patient adopters who will let her move at her own pace
๐Ÿšช Secure environment โ€” she can be a flight risk while adjusting

The good news? Sheโ€™s absolutely worth it.

Siren loves toys, enjoys her walks, and wants to be part of your everyday life. And for a Huskyโ€ฆ sheโ€™s surprisingly good at relaxing once sheโ€™s had her playtime (we know, shocking ๐Ÿ˜…).

Sheโ€™s the kind of dog who may start off quiet and unsure, but with the right support, will blossom into an incredibly affectionate, loyal companion.

๐Ÿ’› If you already have a confident dog and are ready to help Siren find her footing, she just might be your perfect match.

This dog is in foster care and only available by appointment.
