Fuzzy Butts Veterinary House Call Service (FBV) is a special breed of convenience for you and your pet. It's a throw-back specialty to yesteryears. Many of us struggle to obtain the level of care we want for our 4-legged children due to our time limitations, disabilities, driving challenges, etc. In addition, we get distressed when we see our 'kids' having a panic attack in the car, waiting room at the vet office, or the fear of having your pet attacking 'Fifi' or being attacked by 'Killer'.
Another big benefit of a house call practice is the low client base. The mantra here is quality over quantity. I may only see 3-8 patients per day; you are not just 'another' in a long line of appointments! I've been there, done that, and it is not satisfying for any of us.
My goal is to provide my client (the owner) and patient (the pet) with a stress and drama fee professional experience within the comfort of your home. After lots of pets and hugs, it's time to get to business. I will then provide a thorough physical examination; I will explain what I am doing and why, followed by a complete assessment of my findings. What happens next depends on what I find and why I'm here. I can provide basic services such as Wellness Care, Vaccinations, routine Blood Testing, and Preventative Care, Senior Wellness Care, Pain Management, and Behavioral Counseling. Sick animals may require minor or major medical services, although sometimes medication is all that is required. If necessary I have state-of-the-art Digital Radiography, Ultrasound and a full Laboratory Services available. I am also able to perform Surgery and Dentistry at participating practices, as well as provide Hospitalization. We can also work with a hospital of your choice, and I will be there for you and any follow up care.
Sadly, death is a reality for all of us. Performing euthanasia is the least favorable service I provide, but the thought of a loved one suffering, either from a medical or behavioral cause, is heart-braking. Should it be time, I can assure your 'kid' a peaceful, painless, and humane transition in the solitude of your home. Your baby will gently drift to sleep and then gently take its last breath in your arms. Cremation services are available, and you have the option to have the ashes returned to you if you prefer.
Finances are a reality. My philosophy is think smart, practice smart. I lean towards conservative treatments before assuming and applying more aggressive and expensive diagnostics and treatments. My role is to educate and advise, so that YOU can make decisions from a position of knowledge, based on your personal and financial situation.
An office call is $50.00 per pet, the transportation fee is $30.00 to come to your home. Since my overhead is lower, I can guarantee that the additional services are lower than most local hospitals. This structure allows me to live a dream of providing exceptional, compassionate, and affordable veterinary care.
So if you and your fuzzy butt are ready for an old fashioned and unique experience, then 'Fuzzy Butts' may be right for you. We want your kid to have a happy heart and healthy body. We want the best for our best friends. Call now to schedule an appointment.
