📣 Meet Chibi, a 9-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug mix (Bugg)!

She was surrendered by her previous owner because of her strong hunting and chasing instincts, so she needs a home with no small animals (bunnies, ducks, chickens, etc.). She gets along well with cats and other dogs when they are off-leash. Her foster mom is working on her leash reactivity.

Otherwise, she’s a very sweet girl who loves pets, belly rubs, and a fenced yard where she can play with her dog friends. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea and tick prevention, and recently had her teeth cleaned.

📣Introducing Maui, an approximately 3 year old (we’ll call him a fashionable designer pug) that MAPR sprung from the shelter. Maui went from living the street life to living the good life like a business executive who just traded his messenger bag for island life. Maui enjoys all the finer things like sunbathing on the screened in porch at his foster home, sleeping in the king sized bed with his foster parents, and regular meal times.

🐕 He gets along with all his 4-legged foster siblings from the 90 lb German Shepherd to the 16 lb chug in his foster home. He also gets along well with children. He would love at least one other doggie playmate in his new home.

🐶 Maui still has a lot of puppy left in him. He will always choose the Birkenstock shoes or expensive home tabletop decor to chew on over the overflowing basket of dog toys. He will remove the stuffing from all the fluffy dog beds and give you a look that makes you feel like he did you a favor. But he also loves to snuggle and is a true velcro pug, never leaving his foster mom alone to get kidnapped in the bathroom.

💪 Maui has done amazing with house training. He will pretty much do all his business outdoors as long as you go out with him.

Maui has been neutered, is up to date on immunizations, and is heartworm negative. He is all ready for his new forever family and they will be one lucky family to welcome the sweetest boy!

We are sad to announce that Sanctuary Pug, Teddy, crossed the 🌈 bridge. He was a sweet 16 year old little Pug man who showed his foster family as much love as they showed him. Please keep his foster family and his sister, Bella in your ❤️ as they are dealing with a big void without him. RIP and run free Teddy 💔

🐶 Meet Carl!

"This is my sweet Carl. He celebrated his 16th birthday on Jan 3rd. Sadly, he crossed the rainbow bridge Feb 10th and left a huge, irreversible void in our hearts. He LOVED treats, bite bites, and his mommy (me). We miss his “sassy barks” with his ears flopping with each bark. I miss him every single minute of every single day."—Forever Family
