Every day cats dominate the world, we just celebrate today! 😸

Today is Cat World Domination Day 2026!

Cats already act like rulers of the house by demanding food, receiving affection on their own terms, and lounging wherever they please. According to feline behavior experts, their only barrier to total global control is their lack of opposable thumbs to open their own doors and kibble.

Keep your feline overlords happy by making sure their food bowls are full, providing toys, treats, and consensual petting. Support the welfare of the species by volunteering or donating to feline related missions such as that of Petworks Animal Services.

And because we all know how much they love to be admired, show us a photo highlighting your cat's cleverness and achievements. They are always paying attention.

Let’s give a big round of applause for our June Pet of the Month, Regina! 🐶

Regina is a princess who isn't afraid to show off her adventurous side! Our staff adores her sweet nature, her constant tail wags, and the adorable way she whines when getting lots of love. She’s just as happy hiking and exploring as she is being a total cuddle bug.

According to her mom, Regina is "so many wonderfuls" and "unapologetically the hardest love-giving machine ever." She has come a long way from being a 38-pound stray to a 65-pound baby who loves to be held upside-down in her mom's arms. With her literal smiles, Regina brings endless joy wherever she goes. 🩷

We are so grateful to have her as part of the OUADT family! 🐾
