Our CBD dog treats were just featured on the news…”including these treats right here” and now our side business, something we built with years of hard work and strict compliance, is once again being threatened by the government.
Most people don’t know this, but we were one of the FIRST legal h**p growers in Lancaster County…1 of only 4 permit holders in 2018, the first issued in decades! Growing h**p (NOT ma*****na) in PA isn’t some free for all. It involves intense testing and regulation. We work directly with the PA Department of Agriculture to follow every single rule, even when it meant burning an entire crop in front of officials if it tested just 0.1%+ over the legal limit.
(Still nowhere near enough to get anyone “high,” but rules are rules) And after all of that we are facing a potential ban on CBD products because of the language in the new bill that makes it nearly impossible to sell. This would devastate small businesses like ours and crush an industry that has operated responsibly, transparently, and legally for years. Our CBD dog treats came from REAL work, REAL compliance, and REAL results.
They helped our own dog during cancer giving her more appetite, more comfort, and more precious time with us. And they’ve helped so many other pets with Inflammation, Pain, Anxiety, Appetite issues, Mobility, Overall quality of life, etc!!
Our h**p was even selected for Penn State’s Medical Research Program, and we were invited two years in a row to attend their research conference to hear the studies being done on h**p’s benefits. This potential ban would take away something that genuinely helps pets and families.
