Business Update: Effective June 1, 2026, I will no longer be taking new grooming clients, as I look forward to early retirement beginning in August, as well as a move out of state in the summer of 2027. It would not be fair to your pets to get them used to a new groomer, only to have them do it all again in a year.

I will continue to groom for my current clients, but ask that you not refer others at this time.

We're pretty sure he's an Affenpinscher, or at least mostly, if mixed. And he's either been groomed before or just isn't afraid of or affected by the procedure, because he was very good for all of it 😍🐶

UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your reactions and words of condolences. We have adopted a rescue pup, but I still cry over losing my girl 🥹

It is with great sadness and heartbreak that I must report to my grooming family the passing of my sweet, sweet Sophie at the age of 13 💔 We think she had a stroke in the early morning hours of August 20, so we had to make the difficult decision to have her PTS, so as not to prolong any suffering.

To say we are crushed just doesn't cover it 😭

Welcome, Loki, a 5mo Standard Schnauzer that we're hoping doesn't get bigger than my weight limit 😁 We just had to set the pattern for this first clip, and he was a good boy and pretty chill, until I started the blow dryer 😳 His pet parent was apprehensive about Loki losing his black fur, but was very happy with the outcome. It's such a unique color combination 🤩

Attention Grooming Clients: I had my ankle surgery on February 4, and recovery is going well. I've been able to start adding weight on the foot while in the walking boot, with and without the help of crutches. I'm on target to get back to the grooming schedule this week, but I need to make one scheduling adjustment.

If you have a 9:30am appt scheduled, please plan to make that 10:00am. It's taking me a little longer to get up and get going in the mornings, so that extra time is needed. Also, grooms may take a little longer than usual due to mobility challenges 😄 Confirmation reminders will still go out the day before appointments. Please let me know if this change creates a conflict and I'll try to accommodate.
