Attention all dog owners….if your beloved canine fur baby runs away, there is help for you! This is a team of volunteers with certified search and rescue dogs that are trained to help us recover our lost dogs! I personally had a SAR dog (K-9 Cruz) who sadly passed away way too young. This is a really great thing to know exists BEFORE you need it! I learned of this the hard way. Please visit their page and educate yourselves 🐾

Due to the forest fire in Brick and closure of Rt. 70, there is currently no road access our hospital in Lakewood. Therefore, if you are experiencing an emergency, we ask that you contact the next nearest emergency facility. We will keep you updated as this continues to unfold. Be safe everyone!

Jersey Shore Veterinary is opening a new location in Barnegat, NJ and we're looking to add some skilled, talented, and caring staff to our team! This will be a 24/7 facility providing both general veterinary and emergency care to our local community!

Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Service will remain open to all pet parents in need as usual.

Our hours of operation are:
Monday-Thursday: 6pm-8am

Friday we open at 6pm and do NOT close until 8 am Monday

We are also open 24 hours on all major holidays.

If the current situation forces us to alter our availability, we will update our page, web page and all local veterinary hospitals. If anyone has questions or concerns, please feel free to call the hospital at (732) 363-3200.

We wish you all good health during these trying times.

When possible, please call the hospital upon your arrival in the parking lot. You can choose to wait in your car until an exam room is available. Please only do this if you think your pet is stable! If your pet is in critical need of attention, please either call us to come out to your car to assess the situation or come inside immediately.

We hope that these difficult times are behind us soon.

I can whole heartily recommend taking any of your pet/animal emergencies to her emergency vet clinic on route 70 in Lakewood north bound between airport road and parkway.
