Our Specialty Technician Supervisor, Kari, is always looking for ways to grow and bring even more knowledge and expertise to our team! She recently attended an ultrasound class to advance her technical skills and expand her knowledge in advanced imaging. 🐾💙

🐾 Meet Poe! 🐾

Poe is one very special kitty who came to EVS through our Emergency team after he started hiding and acting unwell at home. Poe is FeLV-positive and lives in a home dedicated to caring for cats with FeLV, where his family knows him well and noticed right away that something wasn’t quite right. 💙

During his ER visit, Poe required a blood transfusion to help support him through severe anemia. Since then, he has been closely monitored both at home and by our Internal Medicine team, with our amazing Internal Medicine Technician, Cara, helping care for him along the way. 🩺🐱

We’re happy to share that Poe is slowly improving, and we’re keeping our paws crossed that he continues on this path! 🥰 While Poe’s prognosis remains guarded, he is surrounded by a team committed to giving him the best care possible and supporting him every step of the way.

Keep fighting, Poe! 💙🐾

Meet Riley! 💜🐾

Riley is one of our brave chemo patients, and she’s here for her 3rd round of chemo! 🎉

Fun fact: Riley is super smart! 🧠 She knows how to turn lights on and off, open doors, and she’s so polite that when she’s not feeling well, she’ll even vomit in the toilet... Talk about manners!

When she’s not impressing everyone with her skills, Riley loves playing with sticks and balls and helping Dad hunt pheasant. 🐶🎾🌿

We’re so proud of this sweet, smart girl and are cheering her on through every step of her journey! 💜✨
