Get Ready! Our First Batch of Baby Chicks is Arriving Soon!
We’re excited to announce that our first batch of baby chicks is scheduled to arrive on February 27th!

These chicks will be:
✔️ Sexed females (pullets)
✔️ Vaccinated for Marek’s disease

Please note: Hatchery availability is based on live hatch rates, so final quantities are estimates and may vary if some eggs do not hatch as expected.

Below are the breeds we’re expecting, along with why they’re great choices for egg production and Colorado’s climate:

🐔 Sapphire Gem®

Egg Color: Brown
Temperament: Calm, friendly
Cold Hardy: Yes

Sapphire Gems are a popular hybrid known for their beautiful blue-gray feathers and dependable laying ability. They typically produce 250+ brown eggs per year and handle cold weather well, making them an excellent fit for Colorado backyards. Their gentle nature makes them a great option for families and first-time chicken owners.

🐔 White Rocks

Egg Color: Brown
Temperament: Docile, easygoing
Cold Hardy: Excellent

White Rocks are a classic, dual-purpose breed prized for their consistency and hardiness. They lay 200–280 large brown eggs per year and are known for being reliable layers even in colder temperatures. A solid choice for anyone wanting steady production and low-maintenance birds.

🐔 Golden Comets

Egg Color: Brown
Temperament: Friendly, active
Cold Hardy: Yes

Golden Comets are famous for their high egg production, often laying 280–300+ brown eggs per year. They mature quickly and start laying earlier than many breeds. If your goal is a strong, dependable egg basket, Golden Comets are hard to beat.
