May 2020 Update

Hi everyone!
We hope that everyone is safe and surviving. I am sure that all of the pups and cats are enjoying the extra time with their families. We miss them all like crazy!!! We have been grateful to our essential workers- for their service and we enjoyed continuing to care for your pets. Seeing our furry friends provided a little sanity and normalcy for us.

We have always known how amazing our Dog Walking Pals Family is. But during this pandemic- you have truly touched our hearts. The kind words of support and generosity that have been shown- words cannot express all of our gratitude.

With the sheltering at place lightening up. We will be happy to care for your pets as needed. We are excited to get to see more of our friends. 🐶

We do ask that we take measures to try to reduce the spread of the virus as best we can. Please stay a minimum of 6 feet away from us- if we do come in contact with you. We would appreciate it if you could wipe down door k***s, leashes, and crates before we arrive. We will wear masks when at your house. We take safety seriously.

We are thrilled to say that we still have Kim, Travis, Christina, Courtney and Valerie working with . Keith will also be returning soon.

We have no clue how soon many of you will be returning to work. We would really appreciate an email from you letting us know what your plans are- and how your family are doing. [email protected]

Scheduling has always been a challenge for us. We anticipate it being even more complicated now. During this transition it seems the appropriate time to change our booking policy. Effective May 15th we are changing the scheduling deadline to 48 hours notice for booking appointments. We do get that emergencies happen. We will still do our best to help you with your late bookings and emergencies. There will just be the $10 late booking fee. This will give us more adequate time to schedule and our walker’s will have a little more notice. This will help our entire team have a higher quality of life. Our cancellation policy will continue to be 5am.
Late booking appointments we ask that you send a group text to Cindy (303) 903-8992 & Sarah (303-525-0689) and or an email to [email protected]. That way you get the quickest response. We take turns covering the emergency bookings and would hate for you to have to wait several hours when the other person could respond in a few minutes.

When you book your appointments in the scheduler. It really helps our team if you add in the customer comment for the visit- what your preferred time of the appointment is and the flexible window (minimum of 2 hours).

If you have any questions- don’t hesitate to call. Most importantly stay safe and give your furry babies a extra hug and kiss from us!

We certainly hope everyone is doing well and is safe. I know we have missed seeing all of the pups during this pandemic. But we have been grateful to those we could see- Thanks again to all essential workers.

We are excited that May 8th will be the end of the stay at home orders- so we can expand our care to the non essential workers as of May 9, 2020.

We still have Cindy, Kim, Travis, Christina and Courtney walking the dogs and loving on the cats on a daily basis.

It will help us with staffing if you can begin scheduling your appointments ASAP so we have an idea of how quickly the dogs are returning to our schedule- so we can begin staffing appropriately.

I also would appreciate if you could add in the comment section of your appointment- what your preferred time but flexible window. It will help us meet everyone’s needs as best as possible. 😀

And finally, I would like to thank our amazing family of Dog Walking Pals!!! Thanks for helping Dog Walking Pals and our amazing team of walkers survive this trying time.
