The Pet Doctor At The Pet Doctor, we're here to help your animals stay healthy, giving each of them individualized care to maintain their well being.

When we opened our doors in 1973, our mission was simple: to give every animal the chance to have a happy and healthy life. During our long history of service, many positive changes have occurred both at The Pet Doctor and in veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suite, dental suite, laser therapy and a pharmacy. Our staff has a deep love for animals and is committed to providing high-quality care.

🐾 💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💙 🐾

This week, we’re celebrating National Veterinary Technician Week! Our incredible veterinary technicians make such a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our entire team! As usual, we are spoiling our technicians with lots of treats and goodies!

They do it all, from drawing blood, placing IV catheters, administering anesthesia, taking radiographs, running lab work, administering medications, cleaning teeth and assisting with surgery to providing nursing care, and comforting scared or sick pets.

Behind every wagging tail, every successful procedure, and every patient on the road to recovery is a veterinary technician whose knowledge, skill, compassion, and dedication help make it possible. They balance complex medical responsibilities with a gentle touch, advocate for our patients when they can’t speak for themselves and provide comfort to pets and their families during some of their most difficult moments. ❤

We are so grateful for the hard work, attention to detail, teamwork, and heart our veterinary technicians bring to our practice every single day. You are an essential part of what we do, and our team wouldn’t be the same without you!

Please join us in celebrating our amazing veterinary technicians: Genevieve, Heidi, Lauren, Raynette and Tara this week! 💙 🎉 🐾

Remodel Update: Temporary Lobby Closure

We’re moving into the next phase of our remodel, which means our lobby will be temporarily closed. We appreciate your patience as we continue making improvements to our hospital!

Here’s what to do when you arrive for your pet’s appointment:

Please safely leave your pet in your vehicle while you check in at the designated check-in area to the right of our lobby entrance.

We will provide you with a pager so you can comfortably wait in your vehicle with your pet. Once we’re ready for your appointment, we will page you to come in with your pet.

Your patience and understanding mean so much to us as we work through these updates. Thank you for bearing with us during the construction and for trusting us with the care of your beloved pets!

We look forward to welcoming you and your furry family members into our newly improved space!

World Animal Day reminds us that kindness and responsible care extend beyond our own pets. Respecting wildlife, providing appropriate care for domestic animals, and protecting the environments animals depend on are ways to show our respect.
