Pints & Paws: Free Canine Blood Typing in Honor of Zuri 🐾🍻 Location: The Golden Mill Date: April 18th Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Event Description:

We are gathering at The Golden Mill to honor the memory of a beautiful dog named Zuri. Tragically, Zuri needed a critical blood transfusion but passed away because she couldn’t get the blood she needed in time.

Zuri’s story highlights a desperate, often overlooked crisis: our local animal hospitals are in dire need of canine blood donors and a larger blood supply. Just like humans, our dogs can face emergencies where a blood transfusion is the only difference between life and death.

To honor Zuri’s legacy and help ensure no other family has to experience this heartbreak, we are taking action!

What to Expect:

🩸 Free On-Site Blood Typing: Bring your dog down! We will be doing canine blood typing right on site, and you will get your dog’s results immediately for free.

🍻 Pints for Pups: As a huge thank you for participating, The Golden Mill is generously giving away Drink Gift Cards to anyone who gets their dog’s blood typed during the event!

❤️ Awareness & Community: Learn more about how your dog can become a hero and save the lives of other pets in our community.

Temperatures over 75F can mean pavement and asphalt temperatures over 125F which can cause significant trauma to your dogs pads. Please consider walking your dog early in the morning before the heat or later at night 🙏

These two have changed everything. Thank you guys for all the love and support the last few months while we navigated the NICU roller coaster, getting them home, being on oxygen for weeks, finding our new rhythm being parents of twins, and the transition back to work. They’re doing really well. (Jude has some GI difficulties we’re working through), but both are over eleven pounds from under five pounds birth weights! 🙏 Thanks again to all my clients and everyone who follows this page, and . Excited to be back here soon and share more of the veterinary world with you. ❤️

The boys decided they wanted to come out 4 weeks earlier than we were anticipating at 34 weeks! It’s been a whirlwind to say the least. Jude Grant Henderson, 4lbs 10oz and Levi David Henderson 4lbs 11oz, born January 13th between 1-1:30am. Jude was originally breach, but managed to do a flip and come out head first, with the help of the doc, after his brother Levi left the uterine dance floor. Good boy. They are currently in the NICU improving day by day. I am so proud of them, and love them so much already. Mom has been a superhero throughout this whole process and is doing very well. Please keep these little buddies in your thoughts and prayers. We are incredibly grateful for the team of angels caring for them at St Josephs Hospital NICU
