More photos to come soon, but Muji wants everyone to know that the 6th annual PTH Gymkhana went off without a hitch! 🤠 Thank you to all who participated, and an EXTRA special thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible!!

We are so grateful this week for Beaux and his mom Angelina for saving the day!

Rio is recovering from an episode of tender toes and Max is recovering from an injury, so we were down both of our tall horses this week! But because Beaux stepped in to help with lessons, we are happy to report that NO riders had programming interruptions this week 🎉🥳

Thank you Angelina and Beaux for being longtime friends and supporters of our program. PTH is so lucky to have you!! 😍

Wishing a VERY happy 10th birthday to everyone’s favorite therapy dog! 🎂🥳

Whether at lessons, summer camp, therapeutic groups, or special events, Muji has a way of bringing a smile to everyone’s face at PTH.

If you see him on the ranch this week, make sure to wish him a very happy birthday! (He asked us to note that belly rubs are welcome as well 😉) Thank you Muji for all you do, and the special experience you help to create for volunteers, staff, and students alike! 🎉🐾🐶

It was with very heavy hearts that the Partners team said goodbye yesterday to a cherished member of our herd.

Vinny turned 29 this year and was a part of our herd for almost 19 years. He spent 17 years working as a Partners therapy horse. He partially retired in 2023 while continuing to be a part of our unmounted programming, before fully retiring in 2024. Our hearts are forever grateful to Brenna and the whole crew at No Signal Ranch for providing this sweet boy with a truly idyllic retirement life for the last year and a half.

Vinny’s heart was as big as they come, and he touched more lives than we can even count.

Thank you, Vinny, for being exactly who you were. Thank you for making such a beautiful impact on our program and on all the people in it. We are grateful to have watched him make this world a better place, and it was our deep honor to have walked alongside him as he did so.

The Partners Team is back in action this week after spending the weekend attending the PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Region 11 Conference, hosted by the Shea Center in San Juan Capistrano.

We are excited to implement some of what we’ve learned, and to continue providing the best possible services to all of our students.

Thanks so much to the Shea Center for putting on a phenomenal conference and for filling our brains with lots of new ideas and knowledge!

Happy Easter from the whole herd at Partners! 🐣🐶🐴🐰💕

Honey wants to share some very exciting news with everyone…

She officially has a sponsor of her very own! 🎉🥳

We are immensely grateful to the Optimist Club of Lakeside for their recent donation to sponsor Honey’s preventative maintenance expenses for 2026!

Many of the Partners horses are still looking for their sponsors. Perhaps you, or your employer, may be interested in charitable giving by sponsoring a Partners horse this year! Learn more by visiting our website https://www.partnersth.org/equine-staff
Or by contacting our Program Manager, Emily at [email protected]

Thank you so much Optimist Club of Lakeside! Your generous donation helps make our meaningful work just a little bit more possible. 🙏❤️

We had a drizzly day of unmounted lessons yesterday, and new rider Olivia spent it learning to use her grooming tools on her two favorite Partners animals - Honey🐴 and Muji🐶

Horsemanship is so much more than time spent in the saddle, and we love the opportunity for unmounted days to facilitate new types of learning!

Great work, Olivia!
