Sweet and Sour are still waiting for their forever home. They are 5 months old, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. To ensure their health, Wasson is offering free healthcare for life. Sweet and Sour’s adoption fee has been waived. We would love to see them in a loving home together. Due to being carriers of FIV, it is recommended that they either go to a home with no other cats or a home with FIV positive cats.

We have kittens for adoption!

If you’re interested in meeting us or learning more, please contact Wasson Memorial Veterinary Clinic at (707) 263-5380, or stop by Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM to meet us and complete an adoption application.

A little bit about FIV:

FIV is a cat-specific virus similar to HIV in humans. Although some cats with FIV may develop an AIDS-like syndrome, many do not develop signs of illness for years and may have a typical lifespan.

FIV is most often spread from cat to cat through bite wounds. Mother cats can also give FIV to their kittens.

There is no cure for FIV. No vaccines are currently available in North America. FIV-positive cats should be kept indoors to prevent spread to other cats.
