Meet Buck 🤎🐾
This 11-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer just started our All S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, and he is already stealing hearts (and maybe a shoe or two 😅)

Our 6-week program includes weekly in-home sessions (about an hour each) and covers all the essentials: basic obedience, crate training, potty training, socialization, and car manners. plus your pup has a chance at the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluation at the end 🎓

Right now, Buck and I are working on loose leash walking, managing puppy biting & chewing, and learning that the crate is a safe, calm space. When introduced properly, crates become a cozy den where puppies can relax, build confidence, and learn independence. All around making life smoother for everyone 🐶✨

He’s already learning that making good choices = big rewards 😋🦴

Stop scrolling… because this face is working hard. 🐾

Meatball is practicing his “settle” — an underrated but powerful skill that teaches dogs how to truly relax.

Unlike a typical down, “settle” doesn’t require constant focus or engagement. It gives your dog permission to take a break. To breathe. To just be.

This skill is a game changer for:
• Relaxing in public
• Hanging out at home without constant stimulation
• Creating calm moments together
• Strengthening your bond

Knock at the door
Charlie hears it and automatically goes to place 🐶✨

This is one of my favorite real-life skills because it keeps entrances calm, organized, and way less chaotic. No jumping, no rushing the door, just a dog who knows exactly what to do 👍🏼

You might notice I always reward on the mat instead of handing the reward to Charlie directly. That’s intentional. I want the place itself to be more rewarding than me so staying put becomes the easy choice, even with distractions.

🤍 Meet Charlie!
Charlie was an unexpected surprise for Mom and Dad — but definitely a welcomed one. This little poodle has plenty of s***k, and we’ve started working on getting comfortable around new people, building overall obedience, and polishing up those everyday manners. 🐾

Confidence and communication are huge at this stage, and Charlie is already showing us how quickly he can learn when the guidance is clear and consistent. Big things ahead for this sweet boy! ✨
