For more than 45 years, Edgewood Animal Clinic has had the privilege of caring for Lakelandās pets and the families who love them. Throughout those years, weāve built lasting relationships and have been honored by the trust youāve placed in our team.
Today, weāre excited to share an important announcement about the next chapter in our journey.
Edgewood Animal Clinic is joining forces with My Petās Animal Hospital, another longstanding and respected veterinary hospital right here in Lakeland.
This exciting partnership brings together two teams who share a commitment to compassionate, personalized veterinary care. By combining our experience, talented professionals, and resources, we look forward to providing even more opportunities to meet the healthcare needs of your pets.
What does this mean for you and your pets?
Our Edgewood Drive location will permanently close on November 20, 2026. Beginning November 23, Edgewood Animal Clinic will transition veterinary services from our Edgewood Drive location to My Petās Animal Hospitalās beautiful, newly updated, 10,000-square-foot facility on Drane Field Road, just a few miles away.
Youāll still see familiar faces! Weāre especially pleased to share that Dr. Harlow will continue providing the excellent veterinary care youāve come to know and trust, alongside familiar members of the Edgewood team who will be joining us at My Petās.
In addition to the continuity of care and personal relationships you value, you and your pets will benefit from an expanded team of veterinarians, additional appointment availability, and access to a broader range of services, including advanced dentistry, laser surgery, integrative medicine, acupuncture, exotic pet care, daycare, and grooming.
Our goal is simple: to bring together the best of both hospitals while preserving the compassionate, individualized care that has always been at the heart of Edgewood Animal Clinic.

Medical Records
To request your petās medical records before November 20, please contact Edgewood Animal Clinic. Beginning November 23, your petās medical records will be available through My Petās Animal Hospital. Please contact their team for future records requests.
We recognize that change can bring questions, particularly when it involves the care of a beloved family member.
