Found this during a recent inspection. From the outside everything looked fine, but once we got a closer look at the framing, the story changed fast.

Those dark blotches soaking through the wood are mold, fed by trapped moisture with nowhere to vent. You can see how it's worked its way along the grain and around the connectors.

It's a solid reminder of why proper ventilation matters. Problems like this build quietly out of sight until someone finally looks closer. 🔍

Echo's out here catching things you and I never would. That nose can pick up moisture inside the walls before it ever shows up on the surface, so if there's mold hiding in this room, it's not staying hidden for long 🐾
