What a day. We are still catching our breath over here, and we cannot stop talking about Saturday.
Thank you to every single person who came out to our very first Family Fall Fest. You rode the hayrides, you picked pumpkins, you painted leaves onto our mural, you sat with the horses, and a few of you stood around a crate waiting on a chicken, which is a sentence we never thought we would write. The kids never ran out of things to get into. You made the whole farm feel full.
Together you raised over $12,000 for our Scholarship Fund and our Animal Care Fund. The silent auction alone brought in more than $5,000. That means hay, feed, bedding and vet care for the animals you met on Saturday, and a place here for people who could not otherwise afford one. You did that.
