Last weekend, we welcomed Izzy & Poppy to the Journey.

Through the zoomies, tail wags, quirks, kisses, and protecting their yard from all the big bad squirrels, these girlies commanded attention💚 Can’t wait to see them again soon!

While some of these might not have the highest dollar amount, some do and all of these are vital in one way or another to keep the mission going.

Welcome BERNADETTE to the Journey!!

Last week, we welcomed the sweetest pittie boxer mix and she couldn’t be any sweeter. She came to us through word of mouth recommendations from some OG clients💚

Her spunky sweet personality is definitely true to her breeds but her backstory is the exact reason we do this! She was rescued by this amazing couple after being brought back to the shelter a couple times with being in the hands of an unfit owner and now is the sweetest comfort to her new parents.

What some people see as “not worth it”, “too damaged”, “not the standard”, Jesus calls chosen and loved and we love the clients that expand that love and grace to bringing in some pets that have a similar title to the world.

FUREVER HOME FRIDAY🏠🐶

A note from Tapper’s caretakers:
Tapper is in search of a FOSTER home before he will be able to be adopted

This is Tapper, he's estimated to be around 5 years old. He was found severely emaciated, covered in dog bite wounds, and unable to stand or walk. He has received a blood transfusion and is currently on a feeding plan to help him safely gain weight. Tapper also has a severely wounded joint, believed to have been caused by a dog bite. We suspect the joint is septic, and he will be undergoing an amputation as a result.
Despite all of this, Tapper is very friendly, loves attention from people, and has been very friendly to other dogs

He doesn't have a public profile at the moment since he is available for foster only. We want him to recover and be cleared medically before he is able to be adopted. We would love for him to get into a foster home to have a quieter place to recover.
