The extra hands, helping hearts, and behind-the-scenes support that keep our hospital moving! Vet assistants help prepare for appointments and procedures, assist with patients, keep things clean and organized, and are always stepping in and stepping up however needed. Their work makes a difference throughout the entire hospital!

A vet tech's day can look different from one patient to the next! They're drawing blood, running diagnostic tests, checking vital signs, preparing for procedures, assisting during surgery, and working closely with our doctors to help figure out what each patient needs. Their mix of compassion, technical skills, and problem-solving helps make quality care possible for every patient that comes through our doors! Shoutout to this group of techs and the many hats they wear 🙌

Officer Chip is the ultimate good boy! Never failing to bring comfort and smiles to whoever he's around. His hard work deserves all the treats... We are so excited to share that Dr. McCann welcomed her sweet baby boy, Paul, on September 18th! Mom and baby are both doing wonderfully and, of course, little Paul already has two very devoted guardians keeping a close eye on their newest family member 💙
Dr. McCann will be taking some time away from the hospital to enjoy maternity leave and all of these sweet newborn moments and snuggles. She is incredibly grateful for all of the love, well wishes, and support from our Hawk Ridge family! We'll be sure to keep everyone posted on when she's back seeing patients again. In the meantime, our amazing team will continue to be here taking great care of your pets 🐾
