We place a special focus on kittens who often need continuous care. All cats will have a forever home until they find their perfect family. NEWT is a BIG (not fat), 1 year old gray tabby who is ready to vacate the rescue!

Newt arrive at the rescue with his three siblings last fall. He was thin and a little scared of all of the other cats. Fast forward 6 months and at 1 year old Newt is a BIG handsome gray tabby with a lot of love to give. He follows the volunteers every move when they go about their duties. He's definitely is a lover who cannot get enough pets and loves to be combed. He is sooooooo ready to leave the rescue

This $150 gift certificate was donated by Tiki Clean Boat Detailing and Dock Cleaning Service for our silent auction. The winner doesn’t have a boat, but she liked bidding! So she turned the gift certificate back to us. Here’s your opportunity to do something great for Meowtown and get a wonderful service for your boat. THANK YOU to all who participated in and supported our annual fundraiser. The event was held at The Sanctuary Brewery in Osage Beach - a wonderful venue with great service and excellent libations! Catering was provided by Chef Carissa Renner Epicurean. It was a beautiful set up and even better tasting food. Music was provided by the incomparable Mitch Shields, a local treasure. Corporate sponsors include C Michael Elliott and Associates, R Veterinary, Dr Katie Sheaffer at R Veterinary Cross Creek, PETCO, Pizza Hut Lake Ozark, Copies ETC, Insurance Associates at the Lake, Aspen Industries and Parkway Plaza Tire. Our generous donors made the auction wildly successful. As you visit these donors, please tell them thank you for helping Meowtown. Most of all, thank you for our supporters who every day make a difference in the lives of the animals in our care. Monica would love to be an only fur child. She’s only 2 1/2 years old and is used to being in a house. She was a very good mama, but they’re long gone and she’s ready to enjoy her second kitten hood. She loves to be held and purrs and kisses. Who wouldn’t want this tabby and white girl? Fully vetted, she’s ready to go home, so go to our website and fill out an app. You won’t be disappointed.
