Have you ever checked out our Petfinder page? The felines listed are adoptable right now. We have lots of other kittens, former moms, teens and seniors available to adopt also that are not featured on Petfinder. If you don't see a cat that you like, give us a call. We probably have exactly that cat you are looking for!

With more adoptable pets than ever, we have an urgent need for pet adopters. Search for dogs, cats, and other available pets for adoption near you.

MAZIE FOUND HER PERFECT FAMILY!

Mazie had been found as an adult on a farm, frightened of everything she saw. Meowtown gave her shelter and time to decompress. Everyone wanted Mazie because of her beauty, but she rejected multiple people. Recently, a couple met Mazie and have been visiting her to gain her trust. They were patient and let her choose the timing. She willingly went home with them this morning. Congratulations to all! Meowtown is committed to keeping all of our fur kids safe and happy until the perfect people come into their lives. We’re thrilled for this best-possible outcome!

MEET TERRA NOVA!

Terra Nova was one of our moms who successfully raised SIX bundles of joy. Now it is her turn to leave the rescue. I know it sounds like we say it for every cat, but in this case, it is absolutely true. TERRA NOVA is a volunteer favorite. She talks to all of us and extends her front paw for a high five when we pass by her cage. TERRA NOVA loves pets, snuggles and playing with her toys. While she was an outstanding Mom, she is so happy to be away from her SIX kittens! Yesterday she snuggled up on my lap and purred contently. Ready for a Gem? Come meet TERRA NOVA! She will not disappoint!

THE VALUE OF A MICROCHIP AND A KIND HEART! A woman found a healthy looking and very friendly cat in need near her home. She had it scanned for a microchip and it came back to Meowtown! Of course we gratefully took the cat in and were able to reunite her with her desperately worried pet parents! Because of a microchip and a person with a kind heart, a family was reunited. MICROCHIPS WORK!

COMING ATTRACTIONS! Not yet available for adoption but so cute that we had to share! We have many kittens available now for adoption. They are fully vetted, including FIV/FeLV test, spayed/neutered, I’ll appropriate vaccinations and Microchip. They’re also used to being held and kissed. With all the craziness going on in the world, do yourself a favor and adopt one or more of our fantastic feelings. It’ll be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make.
