Meet Scarlett!

Scarlett is a beautiful Shepherd mix, approximately 5 years old and around 60 pounds. She came to us alongside her sister, Lucy, after their beloved owners suddenly passed away. Their world was turned upside down, but Scarlett has shown nothing but sweetness and resilience as she adjusts to this new chapter.

Scarlett is an adorable, laid-back girl who loves nothing more than cuddling up and relaxing with her people. She warms up quickly and truly just wants to be your best friend. She knows basic commands, has lovely manners, and does not jump. She walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time by your side.

Scarlett and Lucy share a very special bond, and our hope is to see them adopted together—they really are all each other has. We understand that may not always be possible, but they have been adjusting well in foster care. Scarlett has done wonderfully in two different multi-dog settings with dogs of all sizes. In fact, at a sitter’s home, her best buddy was a tiny Chihuahua (her little “boyfriend”!).

We’re unsure how Scarlett is with cats, as she hasn’t been around them to our knowledge, so slow introductions would be necessary. While we don’t have direct experience with children, she loves everyone she meets. Due to her size, a home with older children (around 9+) would likely be best.

A secure, fenced yard is required so Scarlett can safely run and play. We’re told she can be a bit of an “opportunist” if a gate is left open. She doesn’t bolt out doors, but if given the chance—such as slipping a collar or harness on a tie-out—she may decide to go exploring.

Scarlett is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Adoption fee: $250
$350 for both Scarlett and Lucy if adopted together

Meet The Bandon Banshee!

Banshee is an affectionate dilute tortie kitten who came into rescue from a shelter up North.

Banshee is an affectionate, outgoing, and playful kitten who won't hesitate to let you know what she wants! Banshee enjoys rough-housing with her foster siblings and relaxing in the cat tree. Banshee enjoys pets and cuddles from her foster parents and won't hesitate to seek them out.

Banshee has been fostered in an adult-only home with no dogs. She would do best in a home with children and dogs that respect her space. Due to her playful and social nature, Banshee would do best in a home with another friendly young cat or kitten.

Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $175 per kitten ($300 for a pair) covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat.

Meet Jacquimo!

Jacquimo is a handsome short-haired black kitten with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of affection. Born around April 2, 2026, he and his siblings—Thumbelino, Prince Cornelius, and Grundel—were found together at an apartment complex in Clarkston before coming to Best Buddy Pet Rescue.

The biggest kitten in the litter, Jacquimo is full of playful energy and curiosity. He loves to explore, wrestle with his siblings, and then settle in for some well-earned cuddle time. His friendly, easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion.

Like all kittens, Jacquimo will thrive in a home with a feline friend. He would love to be adopted with one of his littermates, but if not, he should join a home that already has another friendly cat or young kitten to keep him company.

Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $175 per kitten (or $300 pair) covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat.

Meet Suri!

Suri is a beautiful calico kitten born on June 24, 2026, and she is truly the sweetest little girl! She has the perfect mix of playful kitten energy and affectionate cuddles. Suri loves to play and explore, but she’s just as happy being held, snuggled, and loved on by her people.

Because Suri enjoys the companionship of other cats, she will need to be adopted into a home with another friendly young cat or be adopted with another kitten. She has a brother, Scooby, as well as foster friends Suki and Sully, and any of them would make a wonderful adoption buddy for her!

Suri has also had some exposure to a laid-back dog and did well. With a proper, slow introduction, we think she could do great in a home with a cat-friendly dog.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, cuddly little companion, Suri may just be your perfect match!

Meet Thumbelino!

Thumbelino has been stealing hearts since the day he arrived at Best Buddy Pet Rescue!

When Thumbelino and his littermates first came into rescue, he was so tiny that we were convinced he was a girl! We named the kittens after characters from the classic fairy tale Thumbelina, calling this little one "Thumbelina." As he grew, we discovered our tiny princess was actually a prince—so his name became Thumbelino, and it couldn't suit him better!

Born around April 2, 2026, Thumbelino is a handsome short-haired brown and black tabby. Although he has always been the smallest of his siblings, he's been growing stronger every day and is slowly catching up to the rest of the litter.

What Thumbelino lacks in size, he more than makes up for with his affectionate personality. He is a sweet, loving kitten who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and the company of other cats. He would absolutely love to be adopted with one of his littermates—Grundel, Jacquimo, or Prince Cornelius—so they can continue their adventures together. If that's not possible, he should join a home that already has another friendly kitten or young cat to be his companion.

Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services. The adoption fee of $175 per kitten (or $300 pair) covers spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of the cat.

Meet Biggie!

Biggie may only be a little over a year old, but he's already experienced more change than any cat should. Biggie first came to Best Buddy Pet Rescue as a kitten with his littermates and their mama after being transferred from a local shelter. He was adopted in July 2025 and enjoyed life with a family that included school-aged children. Unfortunately, due to changes in his owner's circumstances, she no longer had the time or financial ability to care for him, so Biggie was returned to our rescue. We know he was deeply loved—his former owner's son was especially heartbroken to say goodbye.

Now Biggie is hoping his next home will be his forever home.

Born on March 31, 2025, Biggie is a handsome buff/orange short-haired boy who definitely lives up to his name—he's a big, lovable cat! After returning to rescue, it took him a little time to adjust to foster life, but he has settled in beautifully and is doing great.

Biggie has done well with children and would make a wonderful companion for a family. Since we're unsure how he feels about other cats after his time away, we think he'd be happiest as the only feline in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.

Biggie is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and ready to find the forever family he truly deserves. Biggie adoption fee is $100. If you'd like to give this sweet, deserving boy a second chance at forever, please complete an adoption application at (copy and paste link into your browser): https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BBPR/Cat
