October is Pit Bull Awareness Month!

We have a soft spot for these big-headed, goofy, wiggly, lovable dogs! 🐾🥹

We love so many things about them- the blocky heads, the big goofy smiles, the wiggle butts, the best couch snuggles, and the out of control zoomies. Those pitbull eyes also somehow seem to know exactly how to steal your heart. ❤️

As veterinary professionals, we get to see so many different personalities every day — and one thing we know for sure is that a breed label never tells you everything about the individual dog standing in front of you. Every dog deserves to be judged by who they are, not by assumptions or stereotypes. 🐶

We are proud to care for our pittie patients and their families and we love being part of their lives.
This month, we’re celebrating the pitties who make us laugh, give the best kisses, and remind us every day why we love what we do. 🐾

This sweet pup named Bandit recently found their forever home and came to Orion Animal Hospital for their very first visit this week! 🏡🐶

We’re always excited to meet a new family member and help get them started off on the right paw. 🐾 Between routine vaccines, yearly prevention and food questions, or veterinarian recommendations we are here to help.

Happy Friday Lavender Lovers, this one is for you!

Check out this beautiful Lavender gift basket from The Lavender Armoire which was kindly donated by Christine Sullivan. This basket is filled with a variety of lavender themed goodies that would make a perfect gift or can be a little something special for yourself.

All funds made for this basket during this raffle will go towards our Lucky Fund, which helps support families with pets that come to our facility that need some financial assistance. OAH is a family-oriented business, and we want to make sure all our furry patients are taken care of.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or 15 tickets for $10.00.

Tickets can be purchased at our front desk. Sorry no online submissions or payments.

Starts 9/11 - Ends 9/30.

The winner will be picked on 10/1 and contacted.

We hope you had a great holiday weekend. We are fully operational again after the storm with internet and phones working.

We are open and fully functional, although we are still running on a generator. Our phones are down so feel free to stop by or send us an email at [email protected]. We are trying to monitor continuously for messages. We are closed through the Labor Day weekend so we're hoping everything will be up and running by Tuesday. Back to School Season! 📚🐾

Last week and this week, kids started heading back to school, and everyone’s routines are beginning to change! 🍎✏️ And just like kids, puppies are heading off to school too! 🐶🎓 Puppy training classes are a great way for our little ones to learn some manners, socialize, and become the best-behaved pups they can be.

We’ve seen SO many adorable puppies lately for there first visit that we couldn’t resist taking some photos to share as their very own “First Day of School” pictures! 📸 Enjoy these adorable faces, and we hope they have a pawsome time at “school”! 🐕
