What am absolutely beautiful day spent with some absolutely beautiful people. A year has been too long for us to go without seeing our dear friend and supporter Becky Weaver . Our sweet sweet Posey brought us together and she is still stealing Becky’s attention & heart but by the looks of how Tuesday morning went, I’d say that Posey wasn’t the only thief 🤭

Becky has been our number one fan for over a year now. She is continuously liking, commenting & sharing our posts, advocating for us and has also been a Havens Hero for several months! Every single fundraiser or $2 Tuesday, unfailing, she gives! We appreciate her so very much if you couldn’t tell by this reel🥰
Thank you Becky for all that you do for us and thank you for sharing your friends Julia Trumpold & Hannah Hall with us as well.🫶

You are a bright light in this world and give back to so many especially with Angel’s Care Fund. We know they have to appreciate you, your commitment and your heart just as much as FTA does! ❤️

Hey followers or others that don’t follow us but should🤭 don’t forget about our private tours! Check out link and bio/website to schedule yours today! All funds raised from any private tour, individual donation, monthly sponsorship, $2 Tuesday’s or any other fundraising event… go directly to the daily care and special needs of FTA residents as we are still 40% self funded😅

This was right after our chain saw broke! Yet ANOTHER thing we gotta fix. Thank you Mr. FTA & will rusk for all your hard work and patience you display when working with your crazy, frustrating, irritated IMPATIENT mom 🫶

🦃❤️ ALL LIFE DESERVES LOVE. ALL LIFE DESERVES A CHANCE.

At Farm To ABLE, our hearts are rooted in rescuing and providing lifelong sanctuary to farmed animals. But compassion doesn't stop there. 🌱

Whether it's helping an animal recover through rehabilitation, connecting them with the medical care they desperately need, or fostering and finding them a safe, loving forever home, we believe every life is worth protecting.

Because kindness doesn't recognize species. ❤️

This Two Buck Tuesday, your $2 helps us continue showing up for animals who need someone in their corner.
🐷🐮🐔🦃 Big or small, feathered or furry, every life matters.

💚 Just $2 can be part of something life-changing.

A dark-feathered turkey with a blue and red head stands inside a sheltered enclosure at Farm To ABLE Animal Sanctuary. The floor is covered in wood shavings, with a water dispenser, food bowls, a halved pumpkin, and fresh vegetables visible. The Farm To ABLE logo appears in the upper right, and a red banner across the middle reads “Two Buck Tuesday.”

Yesterday‘s project.

A big shout out to Mr. FTA for all your hard work!

I know you were completely thrilled about this “honey-please-do” because it was all over your face🤭

Lily was so thankful because now maybe she can try to bunk up with the Backyardigans 🙏

Next task is to build a carriage door for the winter🙌

Today was a good day for everyone🙌
We are cautiously optimistic about Oreo’s prognosis. We may loose him of old age but not from anything else we can prevent. He is getting everything he needs right now including ABX, supplements, parasite control, extra vitamins, electrolytes, probiotics and gut health treatment, we don’t want to forget fresh bedding and a nice warm coat at night. Please continue to keep this little old man in your thoughts and prayers ❤️‍🩹

Anyone willing and able to help us with our winterizing expenses? We spent $600 yesterday on the straw needed to get us through the winter. No amount too small! Want to sponsor a bale or 10? $5 a bale could have your name on it🤭☺️

Please watch until the end to see the Backyardigans Barn Dance!!! 🥰
A big shout out to 2 of our very special volunteers James Rusk and will rusk for being there for us all the way from the very beginning & Bruce 🐶 for the micromanagement 🤗

This was little Oreo last night. Full of s***k and sass! Today was a rough day for both of us but we are optimistic that he will be on the mend soon. We spent most of the day today clearing out our very last stall. A stall that we have promised to keep empty for situations just like Oreos. It has been a little bit of a “catch all“ so now we are just “shifting sh*t“. We’re going to get it ready for the harsh weather coming in just a few weeks and with all the hopes and prayers Oreo keeps a truckin’ that he may need to be inside all winter he will be able to 🙏

Last night we got Oreo ready for this cold front and thank goodness we did because he is having a bad morning. We are really worried about this special needs senior today. He was perfectly fine yesterday and even seemed good at breakfast around 6:30am then by 10am he started showing signs of sudden illness. Oreo is roughly 12 years old and the past 2 years have been pretty rough for him.

We are Oreo’s 4th home and no fault of his own. We offered Oreo his final resting place almost a year ago we knew our time with him would be limited.
However, we did discover that he had a thiamine deficiency which was causing his seizures before we got him. After treatment, his seizures stopped.🙌 he also had a pretty severe mite investigation which was also cleared up by several dewormers and multiple dosages.
Several times since he also needs alittle Jump Start paste which has helped tremendously. After a phone call consult with his doctor this morning, we have decided to start him on Nuflor, probiotics, and electrolytes and doing another round of deworming. Headed to the feed store in a few for some more Jump Start.
Please keep Oreo in your thoughts and send him all the healing vibes and wishes. We will also pray over him all day!
But for now, check out his cuteness and how helpful Poppy was last night!
