Why the first 3 classes matter
The first three weeks can be incredibly rewarding.
We begin with eye contact and targeting, these show your dog that paying attention and coming when called is rewarding.
then start putting that communication to work in things like recall and loose-leash walking.
These aren't random “commands.” (we don't command our friend)
They're building blocks.
Your dog learns how to learn from you—and you learn how to clearly tell your dog, Yes. That's exactly what I wanted.
Behavior that is marked and reinforced is likely to repeat.
That's where change begins.
