We LOVE Triskit & Ritz so much!
Please share them! They cannot stay in their foster home forever!

Here is another "postcard from Mountain View Trails & Tails Foster Camp) that has been hosting Jefferson Pound siblings Triskit & Ritz since early this year!
So listen, I know some people will see how great they are doing in their foster home and think...well, they are very happy there, they should just STAY! There are other cats in cages at the pound who need homes MORE!"
But I'm here to tell you, that as comfy and happy as they are in foster, and as much as their foster mom and dad love them...they CANNOT stay there forever! They will eventually end up back in a cage at the pound, AND they are taking up precious foster space that may at some point be able to help other pound cats who desperately need help, like maybe Cream Soda, or Yukon, or Val!
Camp has done its job, it has shown T & R. that people can be trusted, and that a home is an AWESOME place! But the last part, finding them their OWN home, is the biggest hurdle for these two.
Their foster home is very close to the Jefferson Pound (Lake Hopatcong, NJ) and you can meet them by sending me a DM on this page! I can put you in touch with their foster mom!
Here is what this week's postcard says:
"Longest Jefferson Pound Residents (almost 2 years....) Triskit and Ritz continue to just be two great house cats!
"Before treat time, they must pay the "treat fee" by getting pets and cuddles.
"Since the first week at foster camp, this has never been an issue for Ritz. He is a purr machine and LOVES full body pets.
Triskit, on the other hand, was definitely unsure of this human contact. But not anymore! This girl knows as soon as the blanket comes out and she is right in my lap, purring and getting all the pets!
"Together, it is a loud symphony of purrs, and sometimes I think it's Triskit trying to outdo her brother Ritz! She's sassy!

I’m sitting here almost in tears you guys! I cannot believe that no one has stepped up to help Franklin. He is Timestamped tomorrow 8/2. We need all hands on deck for him!
Gone Rogue Girls Rescue Inc. . will tag him with an approved foster. He’s 3 years old and weighs 66 pounds. He can be a little choosy when it comes to doggie friends. Let’s find him a foster!! I am not letting this pup who has already had a rough start in life down. He’s a GoodBoy Dog Recovery pup! He means a lot to a lot of people, we just need one person to say yes to fostering him or adopting him!

🚨🐾 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR FRANKLIN – TIME IS RUNNING OUT! 🐾🚨
Franklin (ACCT-A-254537) desperately needs a committed foster to save his life.
💔 Franklin is currently considered URGENT and is at risk of euthanasia due to his length of stay and the lack of space for incoming dogs. He MUST HAVE CONFIRMED placement by Sunday, August 2nd at 10:00 AM. Without a foster or adopter, Franklin’s future is uncertain.
When Franklin first arrived, he was a frightened, shut-down dog who wasn’t sure if he could trust anyone. But with patience, kindness, and a few irresistible snacks (cheese and chicken are definitely the way to his heart!), he has shown everyone the incredible dog he’s always been.
Today, Franklin greets his favorite people with a wagging tail, happily accepts affection, enjoys playing with toys, splashing in the sprinkler, and taking leisurely sniff-filled walks. Watching his confidence grow has been nothing short of amazing.

I’ve got lots more pics from today’s visit! Sadly I just ran out of steam today. Maybe it’s the weather, I don’t know. But I DO know these guys deserve better so I’ll get back on the ball tomorrow!

For now, here’s one more.

It’s ya boy Frankie Beans!!!

He’s really such a nice guy, definitely the most social of the oranges currently at the pound! And looking much happier post-ear surgery!

Next step: a home! He’s great with other cats, fyi!
