Amanda comes to Heart + Paw with many years of experience. Originally a (human) nursing student, a part time job at PetSmart led her to pursue a career in pet grooming. Amanda loves experiencing how joyful pets are when they look and feel their best after their groom. Some of her favorite breeds to style are goldens and shelties. She loves taking their overgrown, fluffy coats and transforming them into sporty, shiny superstars.

When not at the salon, Amanda shares her life with a border collie mix named Cooper, Ollie the cat, Meatloaf the guinea pig, and Nubs the 3 legged bearded dragon. She enjoys day trips with her Nana, meeting up with friends, attending hockey games, and has been known to make some killer baked goods!

Now at Heart + Paw, Amanda is looking forward to meeting the pets and pet parents in our community and is working toward obtaining her Certified Master Stylist designation.
