🧠💆🏼♀️May is my mental health month 💆🏼♀️🧠
Real talk incoming.
Let’s talk about ✨burn out✨
Being a small business owner, mother, wife, friend, employer, employee, mentor, caretaker, trainer, groomer, manager, house keeper, people pleaser and much more can be ALOT on someone. All we do is WORK. We work to provide, we work to survive, we need money in order to make ends meet and we need money in order to get the 5 minutes of self care that we deserve but don’t always follow through with.
With all this being said, if you are in the pet industry 🙌🏻take at least month of self care🙌🏻 force yourself. It makes me nervous to even think about time to myself (cause what??? time to myself???) My ADHD and anxiety are at it’s all time high just thinking about doing something other than work. That’s not to say that I won’t be working, I’ll still be grooming, daycare and boarding dogs but I’m giving myself 30 days of zero training to let myself breathe, ground myself and actually enjoy my life with my kids and personal dogs because let’s be honest, I always want my clients to be the priority because I am taking care of their family members. They are trusting me with their dogs life, well-being, health and happiness.
I love what I do. I love my clients. I love dogs. However, in order to be my best self that you and your dog deserve, I need time to revisit that spark that initiated my passion to do what I do and have been doing for many many years.
I hope you can understand why I will not be training dogs next month. I apologize to those who needed my help and guidance.
Be kind to your pet provider 🐾
