A huge thank you to all those who have already sent emails, made phone calls and marked their calendars for the upcoming meeting! We greatly appreciate your support. We are asking that you continue to share the word and gather as many people as possible that support what we're doing here at the Barking-lot so we can show the city officials that this business is supported by the members of the community.

Wondering how you can help?

Anyone willing to come to the City Planning Committee meeting, it is on Monday July 15th at 6pm at the Lake Geneva Town Hall located at 626 Geneva St in Lake Geneva, WI. If you’re not able to attend the meeting you can still show your support! It was recommended to us that a great way of showing support without being present is through email and phone calls. Any emails or phone calls to the Committee are added as written support to our case. Send an email saying you are in support of The Barking-Lot to the City Clerk at [email protected] .Please address your letter/email to the Mayor and City Council. Phone calls can be made to Tom Hartz at 262-749-0842 or Doug Skates 262-249-0091.

Hello to all of our Loyal Customers!

We are asking for support at our upcoming meeting with the City Planning Committee. We are asking the Planning Commission to support us through their recommendation to allow for us to continue to operate at a capacity of 40 dogs instead of 10 dogs (as it was previously set on the Conditional Usage Permit for this property). We are hoping to convince the City Planning Commission, and subsequently the City Council, that we are an asset to the city and community. We would like to show them that as new business owners we are dedicated to improving the facility and facility operations. We would like to show them that we serve not only our community but also help to support this tourist town, and we make it possible for people to visit who would otherwise have nowhere to keep their family pets.

This may a bit unusual, but please help us keep our doors open! Any and all support is greatly appreciated! Unfortunately, without the increase in the number of dogs on our permit, we will not be able to continue our business.
