🤍 A Message from the MKO Instructor Team 🤍
Hi, MKO family.
On behalf of Meghan and Konrad, we wanted to take a moment to share from our perspective. This year has been an incredibly difficult one for our barn. We said goodbye to Rocky, Waylon, and Blue, three lesson horses who helped shape the experiences of so many riders. We are also mourning the loss of Kouvr, a beloved member of the MKO family and Meghan's personal horse.
As instructors, we have the privilege of seeing the impact our horses make every day. They help riders build confidence, overcome fears, celebrate milestones, and develop a lifelong love for horsemanship. Rocky, Waylon, and Blue were a part of countless lessons, memories, and successes, and their absence is felt deeply by both riders and staff.
While no horse could ever replace them, their loss has created a significant need within our lesson program. Many of you have already received the email about our GoFundMe to help us welcome future lesson horses into the program.
We wanted to personally thank everyone who has already supported, shared, and encouraged us during this season. Every donation, share, and kind word helps us continue providing opportunities for current and future riders.
