Good morning! Meet and Greet/ donation drop off day today!

Where: Tractor Supply Co- Houghton Lake
When: Today, 6-20-26 from 12-3
What: Come meet adoptable pets & drop off much needed donations to help animals in need.

We are currently going through multiple bags of cat food weekly.

Donation Requests that will be a HUGE help to us:
• Purina Cat Chow Complete
• Purina Kitten Chow
• Walmart and Tractor Supply gift Cards

Cash, Venmo, PayPal donations are always welcome as we run on the kindness of our local communities in the form of donations and adoptions. We receive no City, County or State assistance. We do not have a paid staff, just a handful of volunteers, and we take several special cases that take extra funding

🐾 Miso is ready to start searching for her forever home again! 🐾

After spending time figuring out what works best for her tummy, Miso is now doing well on a food that keeps her feeling her best. Since her spay last year, she’s had some ongoing digestive sensitivity, and while we may never know whether it’s IBS or a food intolerance, we do know that she’s thriving with the right routine and care.

Her foster mom has also noticed that when Miso gets overly active or stressed, she can occasionally have loose stool again, so she would do best in a home that understands she may need a little extra consistency and monitoring.

Despite that, Miso is a happy, lovable girl who deserves a family of her own just as much as any other cat. ❤️ She’s more than her sensitive tummy — she’s affectionate, deserving, and finally ready for the next chapter of her life.

WOBBLY KITTEN UPDATE
For anyone watching for posts...
Sad news, these babies will not be coming into rescue. They unfortunately had more neurological issues start, similar to CHaCHa, and crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Rest easy little ones.

For those that are asking why we share these sad ones, this is a reality of the type of rescue we do. It breaks our hearts and draws from our funding, but we do it to give them a chance that they otherwise won't have. Northern Pur Rescue did amazing with these babies.

UPDATE: Transfer has been delayed as the boys needed to see a vet last night. We'll keep everyone posted

Good Morning!
These two cuties are in a wonderful foster home, but will be rescue transferred to us Sunday. Before you say you want to adopt them (which we hope someone does 😉) please know they are special brothers. They have 2 different levels of CH so their "normal" siblings will remain with their foster mom. Our group has a focus on special needs pets so we get the calls for help. These babies are much more high functioning than our sweet little CHaCHa was. See a short video in comments.

We are still in need of washable p*e pads from our CH Kitty wishlist, and a cat tower for the office since they'll be fostered there. Find our wishlist in the comments. We will also need to start a medical account in case we need any extra tests or medical care.
