We are having another low cost Spay and Neuter Day!!! The day will be Sunday, July 26th. This day is run 100 percent by volunteers and is the reason we can perform these surgeries at reduced rates!
To get your pet scheduled please follow these steps:
1. Visit Calcasieu.gov/voucherprogram to check your eligibility
2. If eligible, call CPAS at 337-721-3730 to schedule an appointment with them to obtain the voucher
3. When they are scheduling, you must ask specifically for Lake Area Animal Hospital on Sunday, July 26th.
4. We will call you several days before the surgery date to go over instructions and answer any questions you may have.

Meet Gainz. This poor little guy was found at a gym beneath a dumpster. He was crusty, had a bad eye infection , and was pretty feral. Our doctor took him in and got him feeling much better. He now loves belly rubs and scratches and is hoping for a much better new life than the one he had before.
