Apprenticed under Eileen Reid and many show ring breeders that taught at VTI. Sometimes people wonder what they're on this earth for......I know! I love your babies as if they were mine. In fact, while they're here, they are mine. Always.....

There’s no reason for me to work like I do, for me, or FOR YOU!
This means nothing for anyone, except I may be booked out 2-3 weeks. No big deal. It DOES mean no more squeeze-ins!
NONE! That’s how it starts me up again taking too many dogs😅
I’m looking forward to the days of happiness and not working late all the time! I know it will be joyful for everyone involved! lol ❤️

I was told by a new client today when she took her 3 month old SCHNAUZER to be groomed, they told her she needed to get a paddle because he thought he was in charge and she needed to stop it immediately!😳😳😳🥺🥺😭
What on EARTH??? It broke my heart that someone would suggest to correct their puppy, or adult for that matter, with a paddle!
A GROOOOOMER said this!
That’s why you’ve got to make sure you’re going to the right people.
None of the groomers that I know here, or anywhere, would EVER suggest that to correct any dog, ESPECIALLY while being groomed!
That is what we groomers have to undo, and start all over.
If anyone EVER suggests that you get a PADDLE to correct bad behavior, turn around and run out that door!
I’m still shocked and extremely disheartened, and just SAD!

This is NOT the dog that was suggested to ‘paddle’, but look at how tiny she is! She would be TERRIFIED!
What a way to ruin a dogs confidence, and trust, and love of their groomer, and the whole grooming experience!
Grooming is supposed to be a good experience! It’s part of their life!
I just don’t understand
