In Loving Memory of Carolyn "Collie" Rouyer.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear co-founder, Carolyn "Collie" Rouyer.

When Hobo Hotel for Cats was established in 1999, Collie was right there from day one. She believed in a safer, kinder world for homeless cats. She gave her time, energy, dedication and an endless amount of love to Hobo Hotel for Cats.

Countless lives have been saved, from fragile newborn kittens to senior strays. Hobo Hotel for Cats and the community we have today were the joy of her life. Collie taught us what true dedication looks like, always showing up even on the hardest days.

The paw prints Collie left on our hearts-and on the rescue community—will never fade. The work we do every day will carry her legacy forward.
There is a magnificent welcoming committee of purring friends waiting at the rainbow bridge just for you. 🌈🌁🐾

If you are so led a donation can be made to Hobo Hotel for Cats, PO Box 810, Lake Charles, LA 70602 or maybe even better-adopt a pet from a shelter.

Dear Humans,

We've enjoyed having our staff stay late on Thursdays until 7:00 p.m. so you could stop by and admire us after work. However, tomorrow, October 8, will be our last late evening of the year. Starting next week, we'll return to our regular schedule while we focus on important cat business such as napping, supervising, and demanding treats. Don't worry, we'll bring back our extended daylight savings hours next summer. Thank you for visiting us, and we hope to see you tomorrow for one last late-night cat fix!
Purrs,
The Cats 🐾😺
