Dear Winnie began because I couldn’t find a place that felt good enough for my own sweet girl. I’m that dog mom—the one who worries, asks a million questions, and wants her dogs to have nothing but the best. When I imagined leaving Winnie somewhere, I wanted her to have the comforts of home and someone who would care about all the little things that make her who she is. Dear Winnie Canine Social Club offers kennel-free daycare, overnight boarding, and personalized grooming in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Our daycare and boarding guests enjoy cozy living-room lounges, small, temperament-matched groups, and a human present at all times. At night, a caretaker sleeps right in the lounge with them—because companionship shouldn’t end at bedtime. Our grooming services carry that same care into bath time and haircuts, with individual attention and a gentle pace. Every detail comes back to one simple thought: if it matters to my girl, it probably matters to yours, too. New daycare and boarding guests begin with a complimentary Meet & Greet.

Okay, but STOP IT with the cuteness!! 😭🎀

Miss Fergie came to Dear Winnie today with her brother for a little grooming and a whole lot of fun!

Now, we thought she was absolutely adorable when she walked through our doors, but this before and after?! WE CAN'T HANDLE IT! 😍

Those little ears, that sweet face, and the pink polka-dot bow?! Cassidy, you outdid yourself! ✂️💕

We loved getting to pamper this sweet girl and give her and her brother a fun-filled day at the club!

🐾 Meet Winston! 🤍

At just 10 weeks old, this adorable mini doodle is already making big moves! 🥹

Winston’s momma was understandably a little nervous about leaving her baby boy for the first time, but Winston had other plans! He spent his day making new friends, learning how to socialize, and building a little independence away from mom.

These early experiences are so important for helping puppies grow into happy, confident dogs, and we loved being part of Winston’s journey. 💙

We’re so proud of this little guy and can’t wait to watch him grow!

What a day! 🐾💜

We had the BEST time at Pet Expo! With just shy of 500 attendees, we got to meet so many amazing pups, talk with so many wonderful pet parents, and share a little bit of what makes Dear Winnie so special.

And somehow… our family just got bigger🥹🐶 We officially adopted a sweet pup from the shelter! 💕 She’s officially coming home with us next week.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, said hello, loved on some dogs, grabbed a treat, or just spent a few minutes getting to know us. Seeing so many familiar faces — and meeting so many new ones — made this day incredibly special.

Our hearts (and camera rolls 😂) are VERY full.

A little behind-the-scenes upgrade that we’re VERY excited about. 💧✨

Epic Plumbing is here getting all the plumbing in place for our new whole-building water filtration system!

From day one, we’ve only served bottled water to our guests because the little details matter to us. Now, we’re taking that same standard even further—with bottled-water-quality water throughout the entire Dear Winnie building.

And with grooming opening soon, the timing couldn’t be better. 🛁🐾 Better-quality water for bathing and rinsing means we can make the grooming experience even more premium from start to finish.

Our filtration system will be installed next, and we can’t wait to get it up and running.

Because when we say For Dogs Who Live Well, we mean it. 🤍

Our private grooming suite offers a one-on-one, spa-inspired experience with plenty of patience, personal attention, and no kennel waiting. And because we’re Dear Winnie, every grooming appointment includes complimentary Day Club — so there’s no rush to pick up the moment their groom is finished.

Meet Dolly. 🤎

Dolly is one of our early members, which means we’ve had the privilege of watching her truly blossom. 🥹

When she first joined us, she was VERY shy and unsure of this whole Doggie Club thing. But with each visit, we’ve watched her come a little more out of her shell. Now her confidence has grown so much — she knows the routine, knows her people, and is so much more comfortable being herself.

Watching her go from our shy little Dolly to the girl we see walking in today has been pretty special. We’re so proud of her. 🤎🐾

This sweet little Maltese joined us while his parents celebrated an incredible **60 years of marriage**. 🥹🥂

While Mom & Dad enjoyed their anniversary, Teddy enjoyed a little getaway of his own — plenty of cozy spots, attention, and love.

Because after 60 years together, they deserved to celebrate knowing their baby was being loved on, too. 🤎🐾
