Fletcher was never a bad dog.

Our rescue partner, Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, saw a scared dog who needed more than they could provide in a shelter setting. They cared for him, did their best for him, and got him to us so he could receive the specialized help he needed.

Fletcher needed more than someone willing to feel sorry for him. He needed patience, understanding, proper training, and the space to slowly show us who he really was.

And he did.

Underneath all of that fear was a funny, loving, incredibly special dog who deserved the chance to become himself.

That is why Fletcher’s 5K Run/Walk means so much to us. His name now helps support the dogs coming after him, and the rescue partnerships that make second chances like his possible. 💚

🐾 10 DAYS UNTIL PET PALOOZA! 🐾

Pet Palooza is only 10 days away, and we cannot wait to see this day come together for the dogs of K9 Freedom Pathways!!

On Saturday, June 6, we’ll be filling Kennedy’s Grove with dogs, local businesses, food trucks, giveaways, pet first aid classes, Fletcher’s 5K, Cornbread’s Co****le Tournament, a beer tent, and so much more, all to help support the dogs in our care and the work that goes into finding them the right forever homes.

But we need your help getting the word out.

Please share our Pet Palooza Facebook Event (check our stories!) and invite your friends, family, dog-loving neighbors, and anyone looking for a fun day out in the community. Every share helps us reach more people, and every person who comes out helps us do more for these dogs.

Zoe has waited long enough. 🧡

She spent 3 years at Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge and has been with us for 11 months. Somehow, this beautiful girl still has zero applications.

Zoe is playful, snuggly, loyal, and so full of love. She loves walks, toys, moseying around the yard, and curling up on the couch with her person.

She’s trained in basic obedience on and off leash, and her adoption fee is sponsored!!

Zoe would be an amazing companion for a single person or couple looking for a dog to love deeply. No kids, cats, or small dogs.

She may need a few minutes to warm up, but when she does, she is all heart.

Please share Zoe. We love her so much, and we want her to find her very own forever home.
