🐾 WHAT IS PAWS FOR A CAUSE? 🐾

Paws for a Cause was created to help dogs who need necessary or life-saving surgery and the families who love them.

For many people, an unexpected veterinary emergency creates an impossible decision. Their dog may need surgery to survive or continue living comfortably, but the cost can reach thousands of dollars. Other families find a way to pay for the surgery but are left drowning in medical debt afterward.

We believe no one should have to lose a beloved dog simply because they cannot afford the care and no family should have to face the financial burden alone after choosing to save their best friend.

Each year, Paws for a Cause will select a dog and family who need our community’s support. Money raised will help cover necessary veterinary expenses or provide relief from debt caused by a major animal surgery.

This year’s recipient is Moby, who underwent surgery to remove masses that threatened his life. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to help his family with those medical expenses. Any money remaining after Moby’s expenses are covered will become the foundation for next year’s fundraiser, helping Paws for a Cause continue supporting another local dog and family.

This is about more than paying a veterinary bill. It’s about keeping dogs with the people who love them, giving families hope during frightening circumstances, and proving what a caring community can accomplish together.

Please join us for the first annual Paws for a Cause fundraiser at Good Boy Charley's. Walk-ins are welcome!

Even if you cannot attend, sharing this post can help us reach someone who can. Together, we can help give good dogs the care and the future they deserve. 🐶❤️

🐾❤️ UNITED FOR MOBY ❤️🐾

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a very special dog named Moby.

Moby is 6 years old, and he is so much more than a dog. He is the best friend of a 5 year old boy. They have grown up together, shared countless memories, and built a bond that is truly something special. To this little boy, Moby isn’t just a pet. He is his best friend, his companion, and a huge part of his world. ❤️

Right now, Moby needs surgery, and unfortunately, money is tight. We are doing everything we can, but the cost of his surgery is more than we can manage on our own.

Asking for help is never easy, but we are asking because Moby deserves the chance to stay by his best friend’s side and continue making memories together.

If you are able to donate, any amount helps, no matter how small. If you aren’t able to donate, please don’t feel bad. A simple share can be just as valuable and could help us reach someone who can make a difference.

From our family, and especially from Moby’s little best friend, thank you for taking the time to read this, share it, and help us in any way you can. ❤️🐶

Please keep Moby in your thoughts and help us give him the chance to be there for the little boy who loves him so much. ❤️🐾
