Hi friends!! Welcome to our page…I have a lot of new followers and so many questions lately so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, my business and tell you about how doing business with us works!! 🫶🏻
I’m Amanda, wife, mom of 4, multiple business owner and CEO of chaos…always wrangling pets or kids! 🤣 My husband started Pets Unlimited in 1997 and I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years now.
We had a brick and mortar store in Lafayette off Ambassador Caffery Pkwy for 25 years! Located in the same plaza as Chuck E. Cheese. We decided 4 years ago that we were going to close our physical location but continue to offer our customers a safe and reputable business to get locally bred, healthy furry family members.
So for the 4 years I’ve been working all on social media, helping almost 500 customers find their babies and trying to perfect the overall customer experience with us! I’m reliable, honest, straightforward, hardworking and take pride in my business and I hope that’s reflected during our interactions.
I’m constantly looking for new ways to improve and create content for you to see that sets us apart from most individuals in this industry. I go live almost every day so you can put a face to the business, see the babies in real time and have one place where you can acquire exact details on how the process with us works. I occasionally vlog me delivering the babies, I take photos every time they go home and of course tons of photos and videos of them constantly.
As mentioned above, we no longer have a physical location so everything I do is 100% via social media, texts, calls and online payment methods (mainly Venmo & cash app). We require a half down deposit to reserve your baby and the balance in full is due at pickup. Nothing is held without a deposit.
All of our babies come from local individuals that we’ve been working with for anywhere between 5-20 years. I only work with individuals that I know, like and trust and have built a good relationship with over the years. Every baby will go to the vet for vaccines, physical exam and f***l exam plus have multiple rounds of de worming before going home. Pickups are still done in Lafayette, where Johnston Street meet E Broussard Rd near the Jet Coffee location.
Over the years I’ve really tried to make this process as seamless as possible for my customers. I believe that when you are searching for something as important as a forever furry friend that you shouldn’t have to ask whoever you are working with a million questions. Most of those questions should be answered for you upfront and that’s what I try my best to do for you. Once a customer sends their deposit, I have a 3 page pdf file with all the important information that I’ve accumulated over the last 20 years of working with pets so that I can help guide you as much as possible without going home with you.
At pickup you will be provided all vaccination records neatly in a folder, a contract to sign and a going home “goody bag” filled with a ziplock of food, can of food, pumpkin puree, a blanket, stuffed animal, chew toys and training treats. And ME throughout the entire process; before, during and after!
