I don’t think I’ll ever get over how proud I am of my first generation of babies. What started as just wanting chickens for fresh eggs has grown into such an overwhelming love for these adorable little birds and a hobby that I’m incredibly passionate about. I’m so proud of the babies I’m producing, and even more excited for what the future holds for my breeding program. 🌸💗🥹💕🐥

My breeding. Light blue split to mottled. One of my Cricket babies I held back for myself. Hasn’t crowed yet but between comb and streamers I’m getting cockerel vibes. Extremely sweet, has his dad’s personality and has been hand-raised and handled daily. Approximately 5 months old. 5 toes both feet. Golden hour lighting was not ideal but he’s a very light blue, a shade or two darker than self-blue 💙

Local pick-up in Rossville, GA or can hold until temps are cool enough to ship. Shipping and box fee not included and will be at buyers expense 💌📦

Well, it finally happened. In 18 months of chicken-keeping, I had my first predator attack tonight. I lost one of my big kids and one little kid 😭 What breaks my heart even more is that the big kid I lost was Junebug, my most favorite Cricket baby that I held back from spring hatches. Why is it always the favorite?!

Ugh. I feel like such a bad chicken mom. I will be making some adjustments to both brooders this upcoming weekend. My heart hurts 😔

RIP Junebug and little baby that I hadn’t named yet. I’m so sorry 💔😢

These will be a mixture of mottled, you can hatch black mottled, chocolate mottled, mauve mottled and blue mottled. Splits are also possible and there is a chance for showgirls as well. 🩷
