And the plants are done. Well until I find a few more to add to their little flower bed. We are done for the week atleast. The smiles on their faces was so worth all the trips to the dollar general,
Stines, and lowes. My little smoking crew all sat by the flowers this afternoon. I fixed all the pots and let the one who loves to garden place them where she/ they wanted. It is their flowers. At one point Saturday I was trying to decide if I should just check into the nursing home also. With all the running around in me out the vehicle and picking up Planters my right leg was done! Hahahah.

Good morning everyone. Soooooo our shipment is running late. It was supposed to be here yesterday. Now itā€™s looking like Monday. So new products will be out Wednesday afternoon. We have 2 or 3 new cat toys coming in. And I canā€™t wait hahahaha. But in the mean time while we are waiting. My little old people at the nursing home kept saying they wanted flowers in the smoking area. So we made it happen. Well we started. I woke up early to be the first one at Loweā€™s to hit the clearance plants. Why? Because I want my old people to have as many pretty flowers that we can afford. And you know flowers are not cheap. Me and Mrs Marlene started early yesterday morning. To see the smiles on my little old people faces melted my heart. We even saw a humming bird once we wheeled all the plants out. So my mission today is to hit the dollar general summer clearance to get them humming bird feeders. If anyone has any decent size flower pots they want to sell for kinda cheap please let me know. We need more pots to put more colorful flowers. And between bingo ( yes we are holding another bingo this month) and flowers our pocket book is getting slim hahahahaha. Yesterday when I went back in the afternoon. All the smokers who usually sit in their own corners. Weā€™re all in the middle sitting under the tree where we put the flowers. Looking at the flowers , talking and laughing. It was like night and day. Which made every penny we spent yesterday so worth it. Then I told them we were doing Bingo again this month. And they were even happier. They have small hand lotions to fit in their walker bags, nail files,lip balm, little makeup bags to put all of that in, more soap, of course their little succulent plants for their rooms, this time we added some coloring books to the mix , and of course the Knick knacks. The crazy part is we enjoy giving back to them way more than they enjoy getting. So once again thank you to everyone who supports our small business which allows us to give back to the forgotten crowd. Yes thatā€™s what I call them. Not many people remember the old people. Because they are not seen or heard.

Good morning everyone. While I am getting my stuff together for the bird fair. I wanted to remind everyone. Yall come out and see us. It will only be one day this year. But I know everyone needs a new little sweet birdie and supplies. Sassy shreds will be there with our shredders and parts. Boomer sadly will have to stay home this year. His big bubba has a big boy job now and will be working. I do not bring Boomer out without the big bubba. But I will be there. Yall come visit me.

We have been quiet on here for a week or so. We have been side tracked shopping and preparing for Bingo at Camelot. They got cokes, cookies, plants,more cookies. Chips, soap, notebooks. Puzzle books and so much more. Yall who know us know we love the older people. And this is how we at Sassy Shreds chooses to give back. Older people in nursing homes seem to get forgotten about. Now to start shopping for next months Bingo! Even though we do not post on this page all day every day. Itā€™s because we are either researching new products to bring in. Or finding ways to give back to the community when we can. But Sassy Shreds is always stocked and ready for yall to shop. Thank yall again for supporting our small business. Yall allow us to beable to give back.

I am sitting outside getting my order together for the bird fair. And these two monkeys keep distracting me. Plus Iā€™ve had to go close the door three times allready. Because little Missy keeps going check to see if anyone happened to put more food or treats out. She hasnā€™t realized. I am the only human home with them. šŸ™‰

When youā€™re the baby of the family. And you love having an outside cat tree. But your current cat tree has a gangsta lean. And youā€™re also spoiled rotten to the core. You get a new outside tree. She just dosent know I bought this cat tree a long time ago for under 20.00 Way before we started Sassy Shreds. Itā€™s been sitting in the corner waiting for this moment. Hahahaha. Now letā€™s hope all the parts or there. šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£. She said she will hold it down until I get home from seeing her pawpaw. Good morning again! While I am sitting idle letting the dogs potty. Acadiana bird club always has a table where they raffle off products. This is a great way for other small businesses to advertise their products. So if there are any small businesses who make things it does not have necessarily have to pertain to birds. Or if you own a big business and want to donate a BBQ pit. Iā€™ve seen so many different things on the raffle table through the years please message me what you would like to donate and I can get yall donation receipt I can either pick it up or you can deliver it.

And yall donā€™t forget. The bird fair is coming up in September! This is 2 of my favorite times of the year. I get to meet so many people face to face and explain the reason behind our shredders. And I get to see and learn about so many different birds. We never stop learning in life. And I love learning about birds and how smart they actually are.

Good morning everyone!!!! I had a chance to go restock yesterday. And put out new merchandise. The shelves were starting to run low. We have a little over a month left with dad in skilled nursing. Then life will go back to normal. Thank yall for shopping our small business and making it successful. Even though we have been kind of slacking on posting. We are still always looking for consumer friendly products to bring into Sassy Shreds. And we always try to beat the big box stores with prices. Yes J.P Cards is part of Sassy Shreds. The kid has that part of it. If yā€™all are looking for cards ( he mainly does football) but has some baseball also. He has a couple signed jerseys also that I forgot to bring yesterday šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø. If anyone has been looking at those two beautiful helmets and are on the fence. Message me I the mama will make a deal hahahaha. The only reason they are not on our walls is because our house is Saints only memorabilia . Good morning everyone!!!! We finally had a chance to run to Pelican yesterday and put out new stock and refill everything that was low. We now carry the birdie and Louie cat food. We have the hard and wet food. Even though we have been quiet on this end we are still looking for new products to bring in. I can shop and research while Iā€™m sitting with dad at the nursing home and thatā€™s usually what I do. We even restocked the big bubbas side of the business. He was our back up. But he has a new job and our boy is working 12 hours a day and canā€™t make it to Pelican before 6. Dad and I go to the ortho next Thursday I am praying his shoulder has calcified and he can start putting weight on it. So he can roll on home and life can get back to normal. But in the mean time. We are stocked and ready for everyone to shop. And BYW our cats LOVE the new food.
