All of my sisters were adopted why not me ?

Joe is a purebred German Shepherd 1 year old.
Hi, I'm Joe!
I'm a very active, super-smart pup. I'm affectionate, and I'm good at snuggles and giving kisses. I love praise, treats, and reassurance, especially hearing what a "good boy" I am!
I'm just a big ol' puppy and still learning about the world around me. I recently started learning about toys, and when I get excited, you might see me tossing them into the air! I'm a bit of a talker, and have funny whines and a silly woowoo bark!
My energy means i am an early riser and always ready for my next adventure.
While I am totally a goober at home, i can be a little shy in new situations, but once I know I'm safe my curiosity and fun nature will take over. With that said, I've done well meeting large dogs and have been gentle and curious around respectful young children.
Ultimately i am happiest when I'm with my people and love being part of the family/pack. I don't enjoy being alone.
If you're looking for a loyal pup with a big heart and a playful spirit, I just might be your perfect match. I'm crazy smart, full of personality, and can't wait to share all of life's adventures with my forever family.

Right now, we’re making hard calls every single day to keep up with mama dogs and their babies, seniors who were left behind, and dogs who come in with real medical needs. The kind that aren’t “easy fixes.” The kind that add up fast.⁣

We also quietly run a spay and neuter support program for community Boxers tied to unexpected litters—because slowing this problem down matters. It’s one of the ways we try to create less suffering long-term, but it comes with real cost.⁣
