Did you know that today is “𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆!” 🐎

While we don’t take care of horses, here at Broussard Veterinary Clinic, we 💙 horses and are happy to celebrate today. We are celebrating by showing off our newest artwork in our lobby.

Have you been by and noticed it? Aren’t they gorgeous? 😍

If you are wanting to celebrate today, the best way is to enjoy some time in the saddle. And if you haven’t ridden before, maybe today is the perfect day to learn more about horses and how great they truly are.🐴

𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀... 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱. 🤔

We'd probably use it for funny animal facts, terrible veterinary jokes, and the occasional reminder to keep your pets out of trouble. Until then, we may enjoy this one. 😆

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬... should we get a marquee sign like to one?

✨𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆✨
This month, we're excited to introduce one of the newest members of the Broussard Veterinary Clinic family, 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲! 💙

Kennedy joined our team on June 1st, and she's already become a wonderful addition to the clinic. She enjoys getting to know our clients, meeting all of your pets, and being part of such a supportive team.

When she's not at work, Kennedy spends time with her three pets—two cats, 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦, and her dog, 𝘔𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬. She also has a special place in her heart for rescue animals and says if she could be any animal, she'd choose an elephant because of their intelligence, loyalty, and strong family bonds. 🐘

Be sure to say hello to Kennedy next time you stop by the clinic! 👋

🐰 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘁! 🤎

This adorable 13-month-old Netherland Dwarf rabbit hopped into our clinic for his very first visit, and we were smitten from the moment we met!

💡 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗽: A rabbit’s teeth never stop growing! That’s why unlimited hay is one of the most important parts of their diet—it helps wear their teeth down naturally and keeps their digestive system healthy, too.

Welcome to the Broussard Veterinary Clinic family, Nugget! 🥕 Here’s to a lifetime full of healthy hops, happy binkies, and plenty of fresh hay! 🐇💙

As you celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, don’t forget about your pets.

🎆 Keep them indoors before the fireworks begin.
🏷️ Double-check that their ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
🎶 Close the curtains and turn on the TV or some calming music to help muffle the noise.
🌭 Keep BBQ foods, bones, chocolate, onions, grapes, alcohol, and other holiday treats out of reach.

Have a safe and happy Independence Day, and Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

🐾💙 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 💙🐾

For most people, this means bringing your dog to the office.

For us… it sometimes means they end up being the patient. 😉

Meet Axel, Abby’s sweet 6-year-old pup, who came to work today for a small surgery. We’re happy to report he’s recovering well and soaking up plenty of extra love from his mom and the rest of our team. ❤️

Feel better soon, Axel! 🐶

She showed up with Merry and Sam, her two newest kittens named after everyone’s favorite hobbits from Lord of the Rings.

Did you participate in the holiday? Let’s see your work cats! Drop a photo in the comments.
