I have been dreading this post for the last two weeks. What you may not know, is that 2 weeks ago I received a txt message from a feed rep (thanks Kali) asking me if “my store” was for sale. She proceeded to send me a very specific sale listing of what was clearly my store.
Upon contacting the owner of JJ Feeds, it was confirmed that yes indeed the store was for sale and was already under contract.
I am pretty sure you can imagine my disappointment and surprise that after 17 years of dedicated service (which is an understatement!!!), I was not given any consideration in this decision, nor was I told about it in advance.
Most of you that know me on a personal level know that the lack of respect shown to me after 17 years of running 100% of this business would result in me respectfully resigning.
So now I begin a well deserved few weeks off.
If it were up to me, it would not have gone down this way. I do not know what the plan is for JJ Feeds in LaFayette
Thank you all for 17 years of a great job where I gained a whole new “family” - I sincerely appreciate all of you 💕
And if any if you know someone who may want to adopt those two awesome cats, please let me know!!
