The Comfort Krewe

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to close The Comfort Krewe at the end of this month.

This journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I am incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and loyalty of pet owners, veterinarians, friends, and family. Every visit, kind word, recommendation, and friendship has meant more than I can express. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for making this business so special. I am grateful to have been able to either help improve the quality of life or facilitate a peaceful passing for so many pets in Acadiana.

While this chapter is coming to an end, I'm excited to begin a new one. I have accepted a job with Huntsville Veterinary Specialists & Emergency, where I will be starting an Acupuncture and Regenerative Medicine service. Although it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I'm looking forward to what lies ahead.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your trust, your business, and your unwavering support. The memories we've created together will always stay with me.

With sincere gratitude,

Dr. Lynn Britton

Hope everyone had a great weekend! This photo made me laugh, and reminded me that we can find new friends in unexpected places ☺️

Jax is usually pretty grumpy and has a limited number of “kitty minutes” when handling. After placing a few needles, he became quite the mellow fellow.

Cats are what we call “Yin” animals - more quiet and relaxed compared to dogs, who are considered “Yang” (think about that happy Labrador who just wants to play). For this reason, most cats are very agreeable to acupuncture therapy, which can be used to treat many conditions (including respiratory, chronic GI issues, behavioral issues, and arthritis, to name just a few).

If your kitty has been diagnosed with a medical condition and traditional therapy is only partly helping the problem, consider acupuncture therapy! The Comfort Krewe aims to improve quality of life for all pets. Contact us today to learn more ☯️

Some patients become like your own and bury themselves deeply in your heart. Today we said goodbye to Rex, celebrating his longevity, tail wags, aggression towards wildlife on TV, and love of food before his peaceful passing. Rex, you will be missed, but you will never be forgotten 💕🐾🌈
