Good evening everyone 💕
We wanted to take a moment to be honest and transparent about why you haven’t been seeing as much from us lately.
Back in April, a funny joke meme was posted saying something along the lines of “if you don’t donate I might send..... pictures, and if you don’t want one you better donate.” It was meant completely as humor, but unfortunately Facebook flagged it as going against community standards.
Since then, things have been really difficult for us behind the scenes.
Our page is no longer being recommended or shared like it once was. We lost access to Stars, our donate button, monetization, and a lot of the tools that helped keep this rescue going financially. Our engagement has dropped by more than half over the last month and a half, and donations and monthly sponsorships have slowed down significantly.
We’ve appealed it over and over trying to fix it, but from what we understand these restrictions may remain until April 2027.
To be completely honest… it’s been hard emotionally and financially. We’ve spent the last month and a half trying to figure out what to do next, and that’s a big reason you haven’t seen us posting as much lately.
But please know this:
The pigs are still here.
The rescue is still here.
And we are still trying.
We appreciate every single person who continues to like, comment, share, donate, sponsor, or simply stick around and support us through all of this. Right now, engagement means more than ever because Facebook simply is not showing our content to people the way it used to.
