🐾 Walk-In Wellness Clinic Update 🐾

Due to our increased wait times, Dr. Dave will only be seeing patients for vaccinations at the Walk-In Wellness Clinic.

All other medical concerns or issues will need to be scheduled as an appointment at our main clinic so we can provide your pet with the appropriate time and care they need.

The Walk-In Wellness Clinic will continue to offer:

*** Vaccinations 💉
*** Medication Pick-ups 💊
*** Technician Visits: Nail Trims, A**l Glands, etc.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep wait times manageable and provide the best care possible for all of our patients. 💙

Holiday Closure Notice

Our Walk-In Wellness Office will be CLOSED Saturday, September 5th.

Our Main Clinic will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.

We will resume normal business hours following the holiday.

Being a veterinarian is one of the greatest privileges of my life but some days, it's also one of the hardest.

There are days filled with joy, happy endings, wagging tails, and grateful families. There are also days that are heartbreaking, emotionally exhausting, and remind me just how much these animals mean to the people who love them.

Lately, caring for my own declining dog, Hope, reminded me of something important. When it's your own pet, you want the very best. You want someone who will listen, care deeply, practice good medicine, and treat them like family. That perspective has made me even more grateful for the trust you place in me every day.

Thank you for allowing me to care for your dogs and cats. It is a responsibility I never take lightly and an honor I don't take for granted. Whether we're celebrating a new puppy, helping a sick cat feel better, or walking with you through one of the hardest days of pet ownership, I am truly thankful to be part of your journey.

Both locations will be closed Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

If your pet needs fireworks anxiety medication, please call or text us before the holiday so we can make sure they're ready for a safe and less stressful weekend.

🐾 Need a last-minute refill? Our **Walk-In Clinic will be open tomorrow (Wednesday) from 1:00–6:00 PM, making it a great time to stop by for medication pickups.

🐾 Xander Update! 🐾

Xander has been spending time with the Baker pack and has fit in well with everyone—except my Rottweiler, Maybe, who has firmly decided that maybe our household doesn’t need another roommate. As a result, Xander can’t stay in my home and currently spends much of his time in a kennel here at our busy clinic.

Xander is a friendly, easygoing dog who enjoys being around people, going for walks, and simply being part of the action. He’s great on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and has the kind of calm, loyal nature that makes for a wonderful companion.

While we do our best to give him plenty of attention and time outside his kennel, we’d love to see him trade clinic life for a cozy couch, a regular routine, and a family of his own.

❤️ If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Xander, please contact us. We think he’ll make a wonderful buddy and loyal companion for the right family. 🐾🏡❤️

Say hello to Xander, a loving companion who's ready to bring joy to a new family. He was surrendered to Wildcat and is now seeking a fresh start through adoption. After his soul mate owner passed a year ago, Xander has been holding on to the hope of finding a new best friend. He is well behaved and potty trained but requires a home without small children. He is up to date on vaccines and is heartworm negative. Xander sits and gives paw, revealing his affectionate personality. Xander is a good boy who deserves a friend to cherish him.

Did you know that more pets go missing on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year?

🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks
🐾 Close windows, curtains, and blinds
🐾 Play calming music or white noise
🐾 Make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to date
🐾 Provide a safe, quiet space for your pet to relax

If your pet experiences severe anxiety during fireworks, contact us before the holiday to discuss options.
