Tanner, around 7-8mo old skinny Shepherd mix boy will be coming in about a week and a half.
A dog pound up North didn't pass inspection and the dogs were going to be euthanized if they weren't saved. (The other two were saved by the Humane Society.)
Don't know a lot about this guy yet. We'll post more (and better pics) when we know more. Just wanted to share to hopefully get some interest. 🐕‍🦺💓 Applications can be found at www.gsrfingerlakes.org/Application

Meet Walter, 6yo beautiful working line German Shepherd located in Syracuse NY. Despite his age he is still very high energy. He'll need a specific home that will work with his energy.
Walter is neutered and will be updated on shots prior to adoption. He is good with other dogs, (meets required). Has been around kids and farm animals (chickens and horses). He will give cats chase, so if cats are present they should be dog savvy. Walter is a happy healthy boy, his owners moved and just don't have the space for him thy used to. He needs space to run/play safely off leash. He loves to play ball and be around his people. He has a good recall and knows commands. Young children aren't recommended due to his size, he will knock them down unknowingly.

Interested applicants please submit an application at www.gsrfingerlakes.org/application with "Walter" for the dog interested in....and email: [email protected]
We will forward the application once received
