New Hampshire Humane Society Helping pets & the people who love them for 126 years ❤️ On May 16, 2006 the NHHS opened its new facility to the public.

Since that time, adoption rates have increased dramatically, with an adoption rate hovering at 96%. Nationally, only 16% of people go to a shelter for their next pet. New Hampshire Humane Society has the third highest adoption rate in New England, demonstrating the quality of care and the passion our team has for this mission.

This is City. City is the goodest of the good boys. his nickname around campus is "Happy," because he is the happiest guy around. City loves his dog friends, hangs with his human pals, car rides, tennis balls and pup cups. You know, the simple pleasures.

City is available for adoption, and has been since July. We know, we do not understand it either.
