When its hot, it rains. Out come the snakes on the roads, the frogs and the turtles etc. Watch out driving and try to prevent hitting them by safe means and remember they are thirsty, hungry, and just trying to live life as well. I interrupted this subadult box turtle to get it off the road as it was eating a from that had been hit. Hopefully if returns others will notice and use caution as well.

Was finally able to get this pairing after introducing the 3rd time. This will be my first somewhat linebred pairing of blacknight/bloods to see if i get what i need to continue slowly but further!

The first 2 are now on my morph market. All 3 from the same pairing but i like to hold onto several of each for a while. First is tsm from late last year and 2nd is tsf.

Ive had and debated on this male for a few years i produced my first year with black nights and was the only tsm/male i held back and kept. He was solid black with a white tip on tail and as he grew he went through the most drastic changes out of any black night offspring i produced over 3 years. It was about about 2 or 3 months i noticed the huge changes and shifts along with previously noticing the only one who had dark eyes. Dad is pure line that came from a pure line and long term known breeder and the same for the mom but was not 100% pure line herself but close with a very low pos het tremper and small % boldstripe lineage. Both breeders said the parents had been tested for mack snow and eclipse to a degree and nothing came out. I will be directly testing him to visuals of both or individual genes this season if able with self produced and select females from 2 other breeders with great genetics. If this guy is a one off i will rule out what can be and take it from there possibly. Regardless he is probably my #1 from all ive produced just because no siblings had any of these changes or patterns and this head to body difference. Pictures dont do him justice. Wish me luck.
